I watched REVERSAL OF FORTUNE last night and realized that not only did it star Glenn Close and Jeremy Irons, who won Tony Awards for their performances almost a decade earlier in Tom Stoppard's "The Real Thing" but that Christine Baranski, who won a Best Featured Actress Tony for her performance in the play was also in the film as well.

Has this ever happened before?

I hope you can tell I'm bored...LOL...I over-analyze when I'm bored.

Sarah Paulson and Jessica Lange were in "The Glass Menagerie", then reunited in "American Horror Story".

I'm not sure you'd want to count this because it's radio actors, but the first thing that popped into my mind was Orson Welles using many of his Mercury Theatre actors in Citizen Kane and The Magnificent Ambersons.

Just thought of one ...

Gene Kelly and Van Johnson were both in the OBC of Pal Joey, and then teamed up for Brigadoon years later (both as stars) on screen.

Meryl Streep and Philip Seymour Hoffman appeared in The Seagull for The Public Theatre's Shakespeare in the Park and then reunited for the movie Doubt.

And as a reversal - Meryl & Kevin Kline appeared in Sophie's Choice and then in The Seagull

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

Liam Neeson and Laura Linney starred in The Crucible before starring together in Love Actually and Kinsey (also with Peter Sarsgard)
Peter Sarsgard and Carey Mulligan starred in The Seagull before starring together in An Education

Woody Allen and Diane Keaton first appeared together on Broadway in "Play It Again, Sam" and then of course went on to perform together in six films, including the film version of Sam. Tony Roberts was also in the play and film version of Sam and later did other films for Allen.

Safe to say almost any Harry Potter luminary treaded the boards with more than a few other witches, wizards or mumbly muggles at one time or another.
