A job that actually pays somewhere close to minimum wage...I haven't found one yet. But my first job worthy place I've been at is probably at Housing Works...I did every thing from the register, to shelving, to making drinks.

I started babysitting when I was in the 8th grade for two of the most bratty kids that ever walked the face of the earth! I had to be on my toes because the father was principal of our high school and I would be attending there the following year. I managed to get out of that job and started babysitting for two wonderful little boys for the four years I was in high school. Their father was our dentist, so they didn't leave me any good snacks.I still love those boys to this day. During the summers when I was in High School, I worked as a counselor at a day day camp. That was my dream job.

A day day camp? Was it a day camp for days?
first job you had...
And, more importantly, did it have food places?

(Sorry - couldn't resist.)

Worked in the local photo-lab. I found out more than I should about a large number of people in the community that way.

Next time you go to get your pictures developed, realize that the person developing them will probably look at 'em.

Technically, my first job was cleaning tanning beds in a tanning salon. I got "paid" w/ free tanning and lotion.
First "wage" job, I work at a movie theatre. Still doing that. I just got promoted.
