Namo, enough with the back and forth private conversations.
I've never seen anyone who needed to hear "practice what you preach" as much as you do.

Rath, it isnt everyday you find out that someone you know started in porn the same way you did...
7-11's only perk was the dirty magazines and the truckers flirting with me.
the deli was a disgusting eye-opener.

Posted: 6/5/06 at 10:36amI worked at a local music store... Actually it was a music store/ organic food store/ piano tuning company/ luthier shop. Four separate businesses in one small building was very interesting.

Okay, I was going to tell you about how my 7-11 career paved MY way as a fluffer...
it was for pillows at JC Penny's, but the story is still fascinating.

I worked in a retail store at Plaza las Americas in Puerto Rico when I was 14. Did it till I graduated Highschool at 18. Then I worked at the box offic at NYU for two years. After that I was a Radio City Tour guide / usher until I started a internship at the Susan Smith talent agency. Those years were fun.

Posted: 6/5/06 at 11:04amI worked at a discount dry cleaner in Boca Raton (the retirement capital of the world). You can't even imagine the things we found in pockets or the stains that people had no shame in bringing to us. It was the nastiest job ever!

Posted: 6/5/06 at 11:57amI was the assistant to the director of the rare books library at my college. It was so much fun. I got to pull things from the archives, spend time in the rare books stacks, and plan exhibits. Ultimately it's what made me decide to go to library school.
