adding: the Florida Sun Sentinel that I linked to above ^^ is saying that no charges will be filed against the other two:

Prosecutors declined to file any charges against Jeremy Jarvis, 13, and Steven Shelton, 16, who were accused in their initial arrests of being "part of the group" that surrounded Brewer.

but ABC News is saying that juvi charges will be filed against them:

The two others facing lesser counts of aggravated battery, Jeremy Jarvis, 13, and Steve Shelton, 15, will be charged as minors and, according to Miami's ABC affiliate WPLG, will be released into the custody of their parents this week, per Florida state law.

Prayers answered; Michael Brewer is off the ventilator and breathing on his own. Keep praying for his recovery and good luck to this young man and his family.

That is a relief! When I saw that this thread had been bumped, my stomach tied itself in knots because I worried that he had died.

ok I think the board just ate my last post, but Michael Brewer's out of the hospital as of yesterday. More info on future physical therapy, etc. at the link.
