Well, I've seen Armageddon about 20 times. I don't know which is worse.

Wow, Mandi. Why?
I think I'm pretty bad. But damnit, that last little bit where Bruce Willis says goodbye to Liv Tyler... and you know what really got me? When he tore off his badge to send it home to the guy who never got to go into space.
More banality: The Great New Wonderful is not opening anywhere near here, because "here" is a bland, uncultured Midwestern city that doesn't get the good limited releases.
*sigh* I hate my life.

Nia, we don't get the limited releases, either. I want to see Wordplay, but alas, it won't be here.
I know it's bad, but I just love watching it for some reason. I probably know most, if not all, of the lines too. I've never cried when watching it though, but then again the last time I really cried during a movie was when I was 5.
And, thanks!

But you're moving to NYC in a couple months, so it'll get better for you.

I've never seen Armageddon. What I really don't understand are the people who find Bruce attractive.
Sure, but I've suffered through 12 years of crap. It better turn out the way I imagine it!

Good luck on your move! Can I come with you? Just kidding =D I think my friend is crazy. Her parents own a 2 million dollar apartment on 5th Ave and she doesn't like going to it. I would die to have something like that!!

*keeps suffering with lexi* Don't forget me this fall!
I don't find him attractive at all, but Matt Damon was something to look at back when he was skinny, I'm telling you.
Bleh. I need a milkshake.
ikmb, that's F*CKing insane.

I won't forget you!!
... This sounds like some sort of scene out of a romance. Or a soap opera!
Thanks, ikmbway! I'm pretty sure my living arrangements aren't going to be quite so nice.

YES! That's what I was channeling. Titanic.
I have a sudden desire to watch it. Even more than Leo (I don't even find him too attractive), I absolutely love that film for the gorgeous sets and wardrobe. Kate Winslet is well-dressed and beautiful. Lucky.

Just look at the bright side! You will be in NYC! Even when I get away from the parentals I'll need to find a way to afford to live in New York City.

Oh, I'm not complaining at all! At this point, I couldn't be more excited to live in a likely mice-infested dorm.

Buy some mouse-traps and your set. I wouldn't care about mice at all as long as I was in NYC.

It's nothing particulary new. Just in general...
7 terrorists arrested like 20 miles from me. Although, 7 terrorists arrested is better than 7 terrorists not arrested.
Someone on a walk getting stabbed
2 girls raped and the person is on the run
a brewing tropical storm...
Ya know, things like that.
The news in gerenal is freaky. Although, that's what gets people to watch it.
*sigh*

I'm sorry. That is scary.
On the topic of stabbings: A kid stabbed another kid with scissors last year in another school in my district. I thought it was funny (no one was badly injured). Am I sick or am I right?

Funny?
Sorry, I don't think it's funny.
In the last 3 months, 6 officers have been killed near here- in ft. Lauderdale.
And 5 years ago- a student was stabbed and killed by her boyfriend outside of building 5 of my college.

And my dad's old boss shot his ex-wife in broad daylight as she was going out to get her mail.
If it makes you feel any better, you are free to laugh if I am ever stabbed in any capacity.
My sister cried when I gave her my present. I was surprised, but it was cute.

xM- what did you get your sister? At first I thought you meant she cried because she didn't like it.
nia- I wouldn't laugh at anyone getting stabbed! That's horrible!
Morbid...(sometimes)

A lot of people have been dying in my town lately. A murder/suicide happened the other day. Two girls my age had their moms die in the past few weeks due to diseases. Plane crash left 2 boys (with some mental problems) alone. To top that all off one of the kids bar mitzvah was a week later. There's been some more incidents going on around here too.

SweetQ, I swear 75% of your posts here pertain to rape, murder, suicide, or theft.
I'm certainly not trying to downplay any of the aforementioned events, but they become very heavy topics after a while.
