I guess I should be polite and return this e-mail, but what do I say, "where were you three months ago?" They got my materials and said they'd be calling people for interviews in "a couple of weeks." I would've loved to do this (not that I don't love what I'm doing this summer anyway) so it's kind of a shame that I probably can't.
That's weird.
And pineapple, would you rather go to the school you just got accepted to, or the one you're registered at?
Doesn't really matter to me really. After three years at university in the wrong program, I just want to be in the right program and then working. The one I'm registered at is a shorter commute.
"How does it feel now that shoe is on the other foot?"
I know you didn't just sass me.
Back when I was applying to college, I applied at one school I really wanted to go to, and the local college. Time went by, and I assumed I hadn't gotten into the other college. Meanwhile, the local scholl had long ago accepted me and time was running out. I signed up at the local school, went through all of the paperwork and rigamaroll, paid tuition and all other attendant fees, and the very night before I was to move into the dorms someone from the other college called to say I'd been accepted. By then it was far too late. I can't help but wonder how things would have turned out if I'd gone to the other school.
You would have been wonderlawyer.
I don't know... it wasn't THAT good of a school.
wonderaccountant?
Probably more like wonderAFLACclaimsrep, but it's probably for the best. What would I do with all that duck crap?
You'd quack up.
I'm going to distance myself from that one.
I know you didn't just sass me.
*giggles*
ww, I'll keep that in mind while I'm applying for colleges this year. .
Well, you're close enough to my area for this to have some relevance. The college in Lagrange, Georgia reportedly has a wonderful performing arts program. I wouldn't know. I didn't go there. State University of West Georgia? Hm. Don't go there unless you like draft beer and steelworkers.
I'm not sure I won't to go to college @ home or even near home for that matter. My father and his side of the family live in NY(state) and I'm really curious the Syracuse vocal performance program.
Syracuse is cool. I'm here. Couldn't tell you much about SU though...
Syracuse has the US record for the youngest mother. She was 10.
Argh. I keep falling asleep early (well, earlier) while I'm still next to my laptop. Then I have really weird/crazy/vivid dreams. I actually typed up my dream from last night and have come to the conclusion that I am completely off my rocker.

This morning I got out of bed, took a shower, had a latte, fed Daschel some kibble and worked on my evil plan to take my garden back from the weed revolution. I can't say I will get much accomplished today. In a state of torpor, the only thing I can hope to achieve is a blanket drill

I saw Grease yesterday night, and I really, really loved it a lot. And the audience loved it, too.
Plus, it was the only time I screamed at a curtain call. XD
Today, I get to see it again. My two best friends were supposed to come too, but one cancelled and I couldn't get in contact with the other. Ah, well. It's fun to see it alone, too!

My dad just called; he was supposed to meet me here, but now he wants me to meet him, and if I'm to make it on time I have to leave in 10 minutes. I'm still in bed.
I just made breakfast, Salmon Croquettes w/ Grits(both REALLY southern food) Yum!

Skittles, I was *almost* 11. Gosh.

Ugh!!! 4 hours without power in extreme heat is not good! We had horrible storms last night and all this morning. My mom, my sister, and I went out to do some errands this morning because we couldn't do anything else, and when we came back our smoke decetors were going off and my dog was going crazy.
