What's amazing about the country, and you can really see it best in the first picture, is that there are so many different kinds plants. Every level of greenery is something different. No picture will ever be able to capture the awesomeness and beauty of it (believe me, I tried!), but it truly is breathtaking.

I'm trying to send my mom an online card, but all of the really cute ones require you to sign up, and stuff.

No problem! I hope they work out.

Meanwhile, I'm off to bed. Apparently, I'm making brunch tomorrow.

I'm a bit late, but I love the photos. They make me want to go on vacation. I haven't been on a real vacation in a really long time, mainly because I hate missing large chunks of school. A couple days here and there can be fun, but missing a week of high school is horrible.

I love waterfalls -- they're so fascinating.

Feel better, Em. You're always so sick! re: Banal details of life! Part 3

Last summer my parents went on vacation without me. Hopefully they don't do that again this summer. re: Banal details of life! Part 3

I'm totally watching cartoons.

I could've taken a few days off, but since my brother was away at camp, they wanted to go just themselves anyway.

My mother originally planned to drag me around shopping with her all day. Now she's not feeling well, and said she would rather just see a movie. Thank goodness!

I LOVE Colbert, siren! Do you watch him too?

Do you not like shopping, Fantabulous?

I love Colbert Report and The Daily Show. I haven't watched tv often recently because I had an evil roommate, but Comedy Central is amazing in that they post almost the entire shows' worth of material in the clips on their sites, so I can still keep up with them. re: Banal details of life! Part 3

I watch the Daily Show too. I used to like it better than the Report, but Stephen has really, really grown on me.

I haven't watched anything on their site; do they break it all up into chunks or can you watch the whole episode in one clip? And how far back are they archived?

They have the "Fresh Hot Slice" clip archived! Yes!

On the downside, I am very sorry that "Evolution" is not an available The Word clip.
