Thank you! I absolutely adore Calvin & Hobbes. I used to read the comic books all the time, over and over again.

Haha. Well, when I was in the city last year, I was on the NBC tour. People were standing outside the studio door for some tickets. (This was around 3) They were probably early. It's probably more like 5:00.

I tried looking on the site, but I couldn't find it. re: Banal details of life! Part 3

Edit: Here they talk about tickets:

Ok- I'm having some issues.

In August, I am coming home from college for 9 days. My mommom and mom are taking me to see Avenue Q *which will be my 7th time.* Then they will be taking the train home.

I have a ticketmaster gift certificate and will most likely be using it for Drowsy Chaperone that night.

Now, issue number 1 is that I want to stay till the next day and see Naked Boys Singing and then Conan O'Brian.

Now, I would have to stay overnight in NYC because afer I see Drowsy, I wouldnt get home until 1am on the train and noway Im taking the train that late. Plus, I'm just gonna have to go back in the morning to see Naked Boys and thats another 20$ for train

The other problems are: I would have to go see Drowsy alone as well as Naked Boys and probably Conan. Not that that's really a problem but Id rather go with other people.

Last and biggest problem, I don't really know any body that I could sleep at their house that 1 night. And I'm not paying for a hotel and staying there alone.

I mean, if I met someone from here to go see a show with- I guess that would be 'ok', I mean, I'm not all that fond of meeting people from the computer but I guess if I meet them somewhere in the train station it'd be 'ok'

The problem lies of where I am going to sleep.

I feel bad for sitting in my room my first Friday night in the city...but I don't want to go out by myself.

I'm listening to YAGMCB. re: Banal details of life! Part 3

Summer school is kicking my butt...

But more importantly and excitingly enough,

I'm auditioning for Wheel of Fortune tomorrow (hopefully!) It's kind of a crazy process...but I'm optimistic. They'll be filming here in August before I go back to school, which would be fantastic...wish me luck! re: Banal details of life! Part 3

For those who are going to see a movie this weekend- and anytime up until 6/16, you can get a free small popcorn.

Here is the coupon.

It's at AMC only though.

Enjoy!

South Park is pushed back half an hour because of the baseball game and I'm not happy.

I know this is probably more Adam-thread related, but I went out with a group of friends tonight and someone started talking about Rent. It turns out that someone I've known for years is a huge Adam fan, and I had absolutely no idea! We spent a few minutes talking about his overall awesomeness. It was a cool feeling. re: Banal details of life! Part 3

In other news, remember that English Lord of the Flies Survivor I was always bitching about? Our teacher initially told us that the winning "tribe" wouldn't have to take the test, but it turns out that he never had a test planned and the whole thing was just a hoax to get us interested in the book. Of course, we find this out after I went all-out in the final "challenge" and our tribe won. I feel like such a fool!

Wow. Em, what did you do in 2000 during the Subway World Series? Every station from comedy channel to nickelodeon was exclusively covering that. It was an amazing time...of course because the Yankees won. Ahh, Armando blowing game 1. Going to game 4. What a great year.

I watch far more TV now than I used to. Plus, I have cable at home, so I could've found something.

I'm hungry and tired, and I can't decide which to deal with. I think I'm tired. But damn it, I want to watch South Park.

Well, I have plans for the hunger and boredom. Tired...don't think there's much I can do. I'll just make it worse. Sorry.

But I remembered when the series was going on, thinking of how it captivated NY and what it was like for those who could care less--most of my close friends included. The only player they could name was Derek Jeter...and Darryl Strawberry of all players...but in 1/2 my classes we were playig Yankee/Met jeopardy for extra credit on tests and stuff. Even one of my best friends who hated it was involved in watching it. I loved how she described Luis Sojo's game winning hit: "The Mets seem pretty bad. I mean everyone went after that ball and not one of them could get it. And to only win 1 in 5 games?" Heh. That was such an amazing experience.

I have made my own diagnosis:

Bimodal Circadian Rhythm Disorder (Irregular Sleep/Wake Cycle)and Delayed Circadian Rhythm Disorder

* Difficulty falling asleep, an inability of staying asleep, and awaken one or more times during the night.
* Alertness and ability to function may also be diminished
* Difficulty falling and staying asleep, and or late night insomnia.
* A general lack of energy in the morning.
* An increase of energy/mood in the evening or late at night.
* Difficulty concentrating, being alert, or accomplishing tasks
* Some sufferers oversleep and have trouble getting up

It says for this 'disorders' one should use light/dark therapy.

oy...With my anxiety level, 'normal' sleep is just not practical...I'm happy if I can get 2-3 hours of sleep without waking up.

I'm exhausted, but I'm still awake. I have a headache that's so bad I can't see clearly. However, I've figured out that my headache is the result of stress, so I couldn't fall asleep because of all the issues I'm obsessing over. I've been home one week and one day and I'm already depressed to the point of illness because of my parents. I don't know how I'm going to make it until August.

It's Saturday morning and my phone has been ringing absolutely non-stop for over an hour and a half. Not cool. I should start turning it off.

I can't believe I actually had a dream about having an e-mail argument with someone.

I'm having a party tonight and everyone is bringing their own meat for the bbq, but I feel that I should have other things for everyone. The problem is, I don't know what. My parents aren't here, and I didn't ask my mom before they left, and I'm extremely picky so I really don't know what the other world likes to eat. I'll just go to the grocery store and pick some things out I guess, I have no idea.
