Aw Em, I hope it all works out.
I'm still waiting to hear on like 3 or 4 internships...
I need to shower and my roommate has been in the bathroom all morning.

I hope it works out for you too, Em.
I just received an email from a friend that I've never spoken to via the internet before. She types exactly like she talks, which is amusing.
the wind outside is pretty scary.
I've hardly eaten in two days.
I can't believe that it's only 2:30.
I know! I got home barely an hour ago, but it feel slike it's been forever.
It was also beautiful that hour ago when I got home, and it's thundering again. This weather is insane.
ER is on soon. It'll probably be the highlight of my sickeningly pathetic day, before I return to my everlasting debate over whether or not to watch Brokeback Mountain.
I should just suck it up and sit through the f*cking movie.
We had a half day, and I only would have had one class...so, I didn't go. Mornings are really long.
ETA: Em, you get to listen to Mano tonight.

This may be a stupid question and I appologize. I am looking for what the Drowsy Chaperone is about.
I'm not looking for opinions or reviews but just the story line.
I found a very short synopsis on the Drowsy Chaperone site but I'm looking for something a bit more detailed. Anyone have any ideas where I can find anything? I've searched google but things only came up with opinions and reviews.
I made soup.
SweetQ, basically, there's this man sitting in a chair, who tells the audience about how much he loves the theatre -- he often listens to cast recordings to feel transported away when he's feeling down. So he puts on the record of his favorite show, "The Drowsy Chaperone," and he sort of talks the audience through it, as they watch it performed. The plotline of the show he likes is that there's this actress who's about to marry this man she barely knows, and she's giving up a successful career to do so, so her producers, et al are trying to stop the marriage. Do you want to know more specifics/spoilers than that?
It sounds fun. I'm excited to see it on Sunday.

Emcee! Thanks- that was good and I appreciate that.
However, I should have mentioned in my previous post-- I am trying to convince my mom to go and she is looking for a 'detailed solid summary.'
Again, I do like your summary Emcee but I think my mom wants a bit more. If anyone knows a website or something that is very explanatory- that would be awesome!
Well, okay. Drowsy Chaperone spoilers ahead....
The actress has this "chaperone" who drinks a lot and that's why she's drowsy all the time. The producer of the show sends this King of Romance guy to seduce the bride so she won't get married, but he seduces the chaperone by mistake; he thinks she's the bride and the chaperone doesn't object, so there goes that plan. Then the actress isn't sure if the guy loves her, and she wants to ask him; he's blindfolded so he won't see her before the wedding and the chaperone is supposed to keep them away from each other, but lets her go. So the actress finds the guy, and pretends to be someone else, but he kisses her -- so then she doesn't want to get married anymore, because he kissed 'another woman.' So then it's just ups and downs from there until it's all happily ever after. You should also keep in mind that it's a parody of musical comedy.

Thanks Emcee
You're welcome.
Noah Wyle is so very gorgeous.
Him and his emus make me happy
My laptop is making funny noises.
And yes, Noah Wyle is gorgeous.
What noises?
Ooh, now Noah is wet.
It's just.... buzzing kind of loudly. I think it's a fan thing, but it usually doesn't make noise. I hope it goes away.

Sorry to threadjack (can you really threadjack this thread?), but I need a bit of advice.
After my job interview, the manager said that she'd call me to tell me if I got the job a few days later. She never called, so I called her, and she told me that I did get the job. She also said that she'd call me on May 15th to set up a time to fill out paperwork. Well, it's four days later, and I still haven't received a call. I don't want to seem overly anxious or irriating to her, but I really need to know what's going on. Should I call again? I have an irrational fear of phones, so I'm thinking of just paying her a visit at the store.
I don't think it would hurt to do either, but if dropping in makes you feel more comfortable, then I would definitely do that.

Thanks. I just somehow feel that I'm bothering her, but I guess she can't really can't take the job away from me anyway at this point.
I understand; I'm always afraid I'm bothering people, so I hate making phone calls and things that might make it look like I'm pestering. :-/ But you're being responsible; I wouldn't worry.
