Yeah. Whether or not I would choose to post on a thread such as "The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread" with librarians watching over my shoulders is another story, though...
Robb, me? I wasn't (and am not now) at school when I posted that.
I wish I had been allowed to leave school for lunch! My high school abolished that rule the year before I was a freshman.
Actually, that rule was taken away from my school as well, but since I'm not signed up for anything AT ALL (not even a study. I don't exist in anywhere during those two blocks of time.), I just...leave (I do have a perminate pass when there's no school at the magnet school I go to.). It's sort of, like, an unwritten rule.
I'm watching Boy Meets World. I miss this show!
if you're not at school, where are ya? and why are you skipping school?
I'm home, and I'm not skipping school. I was there for all of my classes.
i'll let it slide this time. this time.
Haha, okay.
Okay, first some good banality:
Lang at the public theater may be an even better class than music of Stephen Sondheim. Most of our class is...obviously there. Next week we get a tour, and we get to see all the plays there this semester for $10 each, and talk to the playwrights and lots of people that work there, and talk with Robert Lupone.
Cabaret is on TV. Of course, it's over in half an hour, but I've never seen it before. Sin, I know.

I am eating the nastiest pizza ever.
Pizza hut.
And now...last night.
The party I was going to was part of this league I'm a part of. So I get there, to the VIP entrance I was told to go to...and carded. Nobody told me you had to be 21 The worst part is I don't drink at all! Ulgh.
Having no experience ever trying to get into a 21+ place while carded, I just hung out for a bit. I didn't wanna just come back to the dorm. I felt a little better, and it ended up being a bit interesting because it was the VIP entrance. I think some rap stars passed me b/c people were chasing them but i didn't recognize them. Oops.
then I'm pretty sure Charlie Sheen passed me.
And it's always amusing to people watch. Anyway, I called one of my friends there when I got there, and she said she'd only be there for like another hour, so I met her and some others when she came out, and we went to a diner. Which was fine; I don't get to see her often and you know, it was fun.
So she and her friend were going to the 1 train uptown, and I was going to the 2 train downtown. The A, C, and F are closest to me, but people told me to avoid the A,C that late, and thought the 2 would be the safest, which is a just a couple blocks further from me.
Now I said bye to my friends at 1:23. Then I walked to Port Authority to wait for the downtain 2 train. I knew being late it would be a while, so I prepared for a wait.
So I waited. And waited. And waited some more. 3 uptown trains had passed. Never taking the subway this late, I thought maybe it really takes that long...
Finally after at least half an hour the 2 train comes...empty. the doors don't open. Workers get off the train and say we can't get on it. God.
So I wait more. Fortunately, I made friends with a 3-year old. We were "eating" and playing, though there was a kind of crazy/weird man to the other side of me...w/ the 3 year old on the other (her dad was next to her) so...it was really weird.
And we wait, and wait, and wait.
Finally, an announcement comes on that a police investigation is now complete, and the 1 and 2 downtown trains are now running...thanks for our patience. They waited until it was done to tell us everything was being held up? If they had told us earlier, I would have left and taken the F train. Ulgh!
Keeping in mind I said bye to my friends at 1:23...I got on the 2 train at 2:37 (of course a 1 train came first). This train of course made all local stops, which took A WHILE. Finally I get off the train at like 3.
But I had never been in this subway station, which is pretty massive, and I was like 5 flights underground and had to keep walking into other trains, and up more stairs to get out. (I'm wearing heels which are *killing* me by the way). It's pretty empty, but a couple people there. So I finally exit. Now, I had walked to the stop with my friends the night before, but this wasn't the same entrance. So then I realize I'm not sure if I know where I am...
So I walk a bit, not recognizing streets. I see a McDonald's I think I recognize...see if maybe this parking place is a place near me; it wasn't.
I was so close to just getting a cab to take me the rest of the way b/c I was lost, but I would see a street and another street that looked familiar...finally I *kind of* knew where I was. It was a little scary with so little people about, but there were cops and workers so it wasn't like completely empty or anything. I finally get to a street by me, but that ended up like...being totally cut off so I had to take another street, and then I was a bit lost again...until finally I found my path. All in my heels that are really killing me.
I got back to the dorm at like 3:30.
Meh.

I don't answer my door if I don't know who it is or I'm not expecting anyone...
Someone just knocked on my door so I went and looked through the peep-hole. It was a guy who looked like he was in his upper teens. I didn't answer or say "Who is it" so I just watched. He started like moving his hips (in a dance sort of way) and then he knocked again and started waving this little piece of paper around. Then he started dancing with more than just hips...
After what seemed to be a really long time, he went downstairs, got in his car and sped away.
Yea, that was weird
A lady at work gave me a stuffed gorilla because it was my last day. It's so cute and cuddly.
I got a new cell phone and my ringtone is Billy Joel's "Piano Man". Life is good.
I went to buy my Art History course reader, but the department office was closed. Now I can't buy it until Monday, which is when I'm supposed to have already read parts of it for class. Grr.

Soap- I'm going well.
Classes are hard and they are all sociology/education.
I have to do a 5-8 page paper on Iraq and then do a hour and a half presentation on it with 4 other people.
The specific subjects are: History, education, the war, and stereotypes.
It's a whole big project- it's like 80% of our grade.

Today at dinner the news was on and I asked every possible question about the war and everything going on. They told me I need to pay attention to this world. I will admit I don't know much about the situation besides the basics.
I just fell asleep for a minute.
My friends lack organizational skills, which really pisses me off. We're supposed to be going out for dinner. One person is on his way now, and the other two are together but not answering their phones.
Johnny Depp is on TV and I am so. giggly.
