If you do a search on the video site for "John Barrowman -- The Doctor and I" you might be interested in what you hear.
Edited to say "hear" since you really can't see much, but the vocal is pretty good.

Well I figured it was the third video, but the first video (of the Weakest Link) was just as cool :)
Is that the one where he sings the Dr. Who theme?
Also, if you look further, there's a great clip of John with Ruthie Henshall singing "Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better."
Oh, and as a reminder, Torchwood is down to two episodes now on BBCAmerica -- this week and next. Per John himself, the last one is so sad that when they were filming it, some of the scenes they could NOT rehearse because they became upset. Those scenes were done in one take.

^I can only assume the link was for the "The Doctor & I" video, which naturally is parodying "The Wizard & I". This is a Broadway board after all, even if it is the Off-Topic forum.
There are more concert videos up, including one of John singing with his mother, on stage, in Glasgow. He brought out the Scottish accent for that one!
I heart John Barrowman and "Torchwood". Can't wait for the Season 2 finale!
I, too, am looking forward to Torchwood's season finale. I plan to have a box of tissues close at hand...
The episode a couple weeks ago about the boy who got caught up in the rift was sooooooooooo sad!
Yes, it was. I cried when his mother broke down as she was cleaning out his room.
Just come back from seeing the Barrowman in concert in Bristol. What a wonderful evening! He still goes the best 'I Am What I Am' I ever heard, and I'm secretly relieved he didn't bring out 'Being Alive'. I'm still in pain from practically vomiting a lung with laughter at the horror of 'The Doctor And I'. I suppose I should thank all y'all for the warning, otherwise that would've been totally unexpected, and I might have died. XD
Omigod, after balling my eyes out through the last half of that rift episode a couple of weeks ago, I don't know if I can handle the Series Two finale.
btw, I love John's Doctor Who song - it was also nice to see The Weakest Link is still alive and kicking over there!
Trust me, the tissues for the season finale are needed. That show makes me cry more often than I thought was possible.
Weez, I've read nothing but good things about John's concerts -- makes me really sad that I will have missed the tour by about a week (I'm off to London end of next week).
I, too, liked "The Doctor and I."
Atrias, people I know who have already seen it said the same thing you did -- that the last episode really got to them, and they cried -- a lot.
I love you, John Barrowman. I really, truly do.

There's a synopsis available of the final episode on Wiki, because it's already aired in the UK. It looks to be brutal.
So I've heard, DG. With Capt. John making a return appearance briefly in the 12th episode (which aired here last Saturday)and revealing he was behind the explosive devices, it sure isn't looking good at all.

"revealing he was behind the explosive devices"
***POTENTIAL SPOILER****
That's what he SAID, yes - but did he really?
"That's what he SAID, yes - but did he really? "
Wouldn't suprise me if he did, since he was apparently trying to isolate Jack. Could have been the other person we saw at the end, too. But I gather you've read the synopsis, so maybe I'm wrong on one count or another -- or both.
(Don't tell me if I am wrong or right, please.
)
BTW, we get a double dose of John on Saturday night, as he's in the Dr. Who three-part finale that airs starting at 5 p.m. EDT on BBC America.

Well, it isn't giving away that the other person was his brother Gary (Captain Jack identified him) - who Captain John had said he had found at the end of the first episode of the second season.
Actually, Jack's brother's name is Gray, and true, it's not giving anything away to say his name -- force of habit.

Ooops - I hate when I do that. It's absolutely Gray, not Gary. Thanks!
No problem, DG...
BTW, I should also add for those fans who live in the DC area:
Maryland Public Television has been airing the 2005 episodes of Dr. Who (with Christopher Eccleston as the 9th Doctor) at midnight on Saturdays. This coming Saturday is the first episode in which we "meet" Capt. Jack Harkness.

I am in the UK so have seen the last episodes of Torchwood and oh my god so sad. DON'T look at spoilers though, just watch them
"DON'T look at spoilers though, just watch them "
I am doing my level best to stay away from spoilers. Unfortunately, some people over on the IMDB Torchwood message board can't seem to grasp the concept that there are people who haven't yet seen the last episode, and have posted spoilers in their SUBJECT LINES. *rolleyes* It won't hamper my "enjoyment" of the program, though.
