As requested. Most of them are from Animal Kingdom, since my ancient digital camera kept acting up the other 2 days.
The entrance to Animal Kingdom
The Tree of Life.
The Flights of Wonder bird show.
Expedition Everest
A train heading down Everest's big drop.
The Dino Institute, A.K.A. Dinosaur: Countdown to Extinction.
All of us at the Japanese restaurant at Epcot. I'm the second person from the left. The black guy with the dopey expression, lol.

Posted: 11/4/09 at 7:59amNo to threadjack your pics James, but Bob Iger announced yesterday the worst kept secret in the Disney community - Shanghai Disneyland. It's going to be a legitimate park, along the lines of Paris and Tokyo instead of the lame excuse for one in Hong Kong. No concept art has been released just yet but it's intended to open in the next five or six years.

I'm hoping to head down to Florida or out to California for my birthday next year to use the 2 one day passes I got when Disney Store closed.
BTW...if you haven't heard (and I haven't read the whole thread) World of Disney on 5th Avenue is closing December 31 and they will not be doing character pictures. I was hoping to take my cousins and get their pictures done with the characters at Christmas. But as of right now there are no plans for the Friendship Room to be open at all from now until closing.

I was there in June, and it was moderately crowded. Not NEARLY as much as Disney World, Disneyland, and Tokyo Disneyland would have been at that time, however. There is still pretty much nothing to do there, just like when it opened. The Walt Disney Studios can hardly be considered a park. It's more like a land. You can do the whole 'park' in like three hours.
On a different note, has anybody seen the videos of Tiana's Showboat Jubilee at Disney World? Even if you're not super excited for the movie like I am, it's still a really cute, energetic show. Even if the New Orleans theme is kind of out of place in Frontierland...
I'm going to WDW on January 9th, which is six days after the Jubilee's supposed to go away.
I hope they extend it.

Posted: 11/4/09 at 4:24pmI was at Disneyland two weeks ago and was nearly trampled by the insane crowd heading towards Fantasmic! The fireworks show had just ended so "This is Halloween! This is Halloween" kept racing in my head as I was pushed all about.

It was so crowded the night I went, they pushed some of us behind the Main Street shops and we exited through a back alley:
I worked there and had never seen the back of that side of Main Street...

I love when they use a backstage exit at WDW when the parks are crowded. They do it after Fantasmic a lot, especially when the show is full.
Speaking of Fantasmic, has Murphy the Dragon been working regularly, after all that hoopla? He worked in September when I saw him, and was quite spectacular. He even received "entrance applause."

I've had to do that backstage behind Main Street thing at Disney World before.
And it looks almost exactly the same, LOL.
