I kind of detest people who advertise their homosexuality with flags and stickers.

Yeah, you're gay. Get over it.

WOW......but I guess you like all the Christian freaks with their little stickers, or all the American flag stickers? Maybe you want to crawl back into the closet and hide Capn, but those of us who have been on the planet a long time, NEVER will again.......that is a REALLY stupid statement.

The Detroit News and the Detroit Free Press do not have the same owners and they aren't biased toward the auto companies. They are, understandably, much more familiar with goings on in the domestic auto industry than other general, non-industry newspapers.

That t-shirt would more accurately reflect its wearers if it read "I hate Ford"

please I lived in Detroit....they are totally biased......give me a break. You are just like those morons who will try to justify the war in Iraq by any means....

Knight Ridder's website obviously hasn't been updated in a while.

Gannett owns the Detroit Free Press and MediaNews Group owns the Detroit News. The Joint Operating Agreement pertains only to printing and distribution facilities. Each paper's editorial policy and newsroom are independent of the other.

I stand corrected....interesting changes...

The Detroit News will become a morning publication.

-- The Free Press and The Detroit News each will publish a
separate Saturday edition.

-- The Detroit Free Press will become sole publisher of the
Sunday newspaper. Currently, the Saturday and Sunday editions
are a joint publication of the News and the Free Press.
