Fox News Attempts to Link Student Suicide with an Obama Speech

"George Washington University students in Washington, D.C. learned of a tragic coincidence of timing on their campus Wednesday. As President Obama delivered a speech on deficit reduction in the Jack Morton Auditorium, university officials were learning one of their students had committed suicide in his dorm room across campus.

As you can imagine, the reaction has not be favorable.

Why should the White House respond? Chances are it's completely unrelated.

I'll bet somewhere in the U.S., there was a murder while the speech went on, too. And someone succumbed to cancer. I eagerly await the White House's response to those incidents, too.

Does Fox still get defensive and pissy when you mock their 'Fair and Balanced" act or have they pretty much admitted they are the most Bias and dishonest name in news?

I generally think of these folks as having unbelievably loose parameters, but this kind of indicates that they simply don't have any. What an insult to the family and friends of that young man. Shameful.

interesting. how about a news story about how many innocent gay adolescents have committed suicide because of the bible, tricked by the hideous, immoral lie that their loving creator thinks of them as an abomination, an aberration, so they saw their self-annihilation as the only solution? how about a follow-up editorial that even one is one too many, that our nation should be so ashamed of duping perfectly healthy children into throwing away the only life we know they get?

as a corollary, how many parents have been tricked into rejecting their perfectly healthy children because of these horrible fairy tales? how about an editorial about how ashamed our country should be of that?

i'm guessing we won't see that.
