Posted: 6/22/05 at 12:51pmOkay, so who do you think is the funniest comedian? It can be a current comedian or one from a long time ago. Last night I was watching Jay Leno and Sinbad was on. Sinbad made me laugh so much. He was hilarious in Jingle All the Way too. So let me know your thoughts about the comedians you think are the funniest.

Conan O'Brien's pretty hilarious. Bill Cosby's another funny comedian too. Not as funny as Sinbad though. But that's my opinion.

Posted: 6/22/05 at 1:43pmI like Eddie Izzard because he is very smart and you can tell by his comedy routines, but at night (when I usually watch comedy specials) sometimes I have to think too much to get some of his jokes.

I grew up watching Carlin and Pryor and Cosby, then Eddie Murphy and Rodney Dangerfield. I loved Robin Williams Live at the Met. I even though Gallagher was much funnier than the watermelon smashing he's most known for -- he had some great observational humor in those old specials.
I loved Jerry Seinfeld long before he had his TV show. There's a great gentleman named George Wallace who's very funny. Sinbad's funny. Chris Rock is spectacular, the sort of cutting edge guy that Carlin and Pryor were.
Denis Leary was great before he turned his attention totally to acting.

She’s kind of sad now, but WAY back in the day, Joan Rivers was hysterical.
Of the current crop, I love Kathy Griffin.

Lots of the women on SNL...particularly Ana, Tina Fey, Rachel Dratch, Cheri Oteri, Amy, Maya Rudolph...
I've been particular to Ellen, as well. Just the way she says things makes them funny.
And I've just finished Mrs. Doubtfire, so Robin Williams is up there.
