As long as you give us a good story I don't think we'll mind which medium you choose. :)

Oscar to Felix after he throws the linguini against the wall in THE ODD COUPLE. Simon is the master of setting up the one-liner.

Ooh, that reminds me of Shelley Long's line:

"Eight years of ballet, arsehole."

I can't remember the name of the movie, but she said it after jumping across a cavern to escape the bad guy. You know, the movie with Bette Midler. Ah, I hate estrogen depletion!

I love "Outrageous Fortune". Another funny line from that movie is:
(In response to Shelly long saying the taxi driver's going to hurt them, and Bette Midler says he won't)
"'Cause we're gonna be raped and murdered in that building."

It's more to do with the delivery of the line, though.

"Years from now, when you talk about this - And you will - Be kind. "

From the TV series WKRP In Cinncinatti:

"As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly!" - Mr. Carlson (after a disastrous Thanksgiving promotion for the station involving dropping turkeys from a helicopter into a grocery store parking lot.)
