Posted: 10/12/09 at 11:59pmIt's like an episode of SNL when they have a decent musical guest. I still think that most everything before and after the musical numbers is rubbish. I would have much preferred it if the storylines were more routed in reality, a la the original FAME movie.

Can't you watch Vitamin D on Hulu?
I find Hulu works best for me because I am on low bandwidth on the Blackberry tether. I can just click it and it will go on hold and buffer and you can read an email or visit another website and watch the levels of the download as they go up then return and watch another segment. It doesn't take long and it is not so annoying as listening to break-ups during the scenes.

By the way, check out the Asian male dancer in the guys' number on that Vitamin D episode.
He's terrific.

Posted: 10/14/09 at 3:38pmI just heard "You Keep Me Hangin’ On". I'm glad Quinn got her own song to sing.

Posted: 10/14/09 at 3:53pmI was just coming here to post that, Evie! She doesn't have the strongest voice, but the song is a good fit for her, and it's refreshing to hear someone else sing for once.

Did anyone else hear about the upcoming "Hair"/"Crazy in Love" mashup? CRAZY!
Chris Colfer's also going to sing Defying Gravity, which is great because he hasn't had a solo since the first episode.

Posted: 10/14/09 at 4:45pmI think that Chris is doing Glinda's part & Lea is doing Elphaba.

Posted: 10/14/09 at 7:20pmI am pretty sure Chris gets the bulk of Defying Gravity... read it in an interview.
"If we don't live happily ever after at least we survive until the end of the week!" -Kermit the frog "I need the money... it costs a lot to look this cheap!" -Dolly P. "Oh please, Over at 'Gypsy' Patti LuPone hasn't even alienated her first daughter yet!" Mary Testa in "Xanadu" "...Like a drunk Chita Rivera!" Robin de Jesus in "In the Heights"
"B*tch, I don't know your life." -Xanadu After that if he still doesn't understand why you were uncomfortable and are now infuriated, kick him again but this time with Jazz Hands!!! -KillerTofu#388The Germicidal Cleaniac vs. the Christmas Closet Wife

entertaining but I was not overly thrilled with the songs. I really hope they focus more on Puck as the baby daddy soon. For how much concern he showed originally, I cant believe he'd be sitting idly by.
yay, for more curly hair jokes, i don't know why but they make my night!

Posted: 10/14/09 at 10:33pmYeah, I thought the song selection for tonight was weak. Keep Holding On was decent, but I was not too fond of anything else really.

TF4 - I was thinking that too! Finn stressed concern and thats why Will lessened her choreography before. wtf mate?
tonight - I totally shed tears with Matthew Morrison, I hate Terry. so much.

Ok, I have tried, I have REALLY TRIED to love this show. I've given it 6 episodes. But with the exception of the Kurt storyline and the occasional musical number, it's just not happening. You can't play absurdist, over the top humor one minute, then sappy, overly earnest sentimentality the next. It just doesn't work. (at least for me).
