I wonder when they'll going to get the band geeks involved with GLEE. They count too!
I can't wait for next week after seeing that clip!

We never wore our cheerleading uniforms to classes. Only to games, and we had a lot of those for three sports. Two sets of uniforms, indoors and outdoors. Their outdoor uniforms are baloney for football in Ohio. Football and hockey are COLD. You have big warm sweaters over your uniforms for outdoor sports, and heavier skirts.
Their outdoor uniforms are strictly Southern California, and let's face it, the weather in GLEE is nothing like a winter climate like Ohio.
I think all our uniforms, indoors and out, were wool. Plus we had big fancy wool cheerleading jackets we ordered for over that. And letter jackets, but those were lighter.
When I was in HS the cheerleaders wore their uniforms to classes and the football players wore their jerseys.
Just watched last night's episode. There several "Oh, wow" moments and several "Omigod did she just say that?" moments--mostly Sue.
For the first time, the writing of the various storylines approached the high level of quality of the overall concept and the individual performances.
Series like these are organic creations, and I think this one is developing pretty rapidly.
At any rate, all of us seem to be looking forward to each next episode, even those of us who (claim to) dislike it.
And I have a crush on the disabled boy too.
Sue Sylvester is the HBIC.
That was the Omigod, she didn't really do that, did she?" moment.
It was brilliant.
The journal entry literally had me in tears by the time she got to her hovercraft bit. The episode didn't have the greatest music or the greatest plot, but for me it worked as a whole better than the other ones have.
I hope I'm not the only one excited for this:

No one seems to be able to figure who exactly singing, exactly.
The writing of the journal-entry scene really raised the bar. Prior to that, her performance had been what made that character work. Finally, tonight, the writing of her character was as good as her performance of it.
LOOOOOOVE Artie's voice.
I just thought of a WONDERFUL song for Sue to sing.
It's the season finale (Cliff hanger time) she finally gets the Glee Club disbanded AND 'Everything's Coming Up Roses!' this time for Sue.
I'd like to see Finn sing "Give It to You" from Jordan Knight.

LMAO my HS didn't have cheerleaders or football players. I honestly thought the whole jock-cheerleader thing was made up specifically to create drama in movies and tv shows that take place in a High School until I went to college and met people who had actually been cheerleaders and jocks.
ElphieDefiesGravity, I don't want to spoil anything for you, but that scene is on Hulu, along with the "No Air" number. Admittedly, I'd guessed who sang "Keep Holding On" given the subject matter, but it still made me tear up a little.
"Mr. S" looked so cute dancing during "No Air"! Swoooooon.

Wool? Weren't you dying? Cheerleaders today would die in wool uniforms! They work hard!
hahahaha found randomly in an article...
From a recent post on the website Texts From Last Night, a texter from the 225 area code (southern Louisiana) urged, “Dude stop singing. Your life is not an episode of f***ing glee.”

I'm wondering if they're going to stay in climate limbo. Technically when winter comes, there will be no football and the guys will have to change sports. The producers are also racing the clock. Those actors won't stay looking like high school kids for more than a few seasons.
