i know i'm a little late to comment here, but i DVR the episodes and watch them later, since law and order SVU is on at the same time....
but i loved the song at the end and thought the way they did it was really touching, especially consitering the circumstances.

Is it just me or have the last 3 weeks been very consistently strong?
I think the show has really found its footing and I can't wait to see how the rest of the already in-the-can episodes play out and how Murphy will do the final 10 of the season when they start filming them next month, knowing the audience's likes and dislikes and tailoring the show accordingly.
I think that IF they give Jane a song this season it should be in the season finale and it should be "Everything's Coming Up Roses" as another poster suggested. It would be DIVINE, and I really could not care less how much auto-tuning would need to be done as Lynch has a pleasant but not Lupone-level voice/belt.
She loves those cheerios in very much the same way Rose loves Louise... "FOR ME!"

Posted: 10/16/09 at 10:51pmThe only thing I really don't like, is that he gives them the sheet music and 2 seconds later they know it by heart and it's PERFECT. So unrealistic. Also, give the other Glee kids a chance. I'm tired of Finn and Lea Michelle's character.

That clip of Mark Salling just makes me happy.... glad they are giving the other Gleeks a chance

Posted: 10/17/09 at 12:56amgeez... who the hell cares if they can sing a song in two seconds perfectly... it's a freaking MUSICAL!
#462Sam's .gif of the week
Posted: 10/17/09 at 1:56amYeah, thanks for clarifying *rolls eyes* I am just saying, that if they are setting the groundwork for them to go and win competitions, you would think they would show the glee club actually practicing or having some kind of fear of "this may not work." The way it is now, they can wipe the floor with pretty much anyone. I am not saying it is a HORRIBLE thing....it just kinda irritates me.

A fun tidbit. Terri's doctor is the guy who played the Corpse Broom Salesman from Halloweentown.

Posted: 10/17/09 at 7:18pmTaryn, that's all I could think when I watched that video. As glad as I am for Puck...I kind of just wish they'd stop effing around with all these teens and the romantic drama. But then there wouldn't really be much of a show I guess. lol

Posted: 10/17/09 at 7:35pmAre they really going to have Rachel fall for every man who has a solo?
#467Sam's .gif of the week
Posted: 10/17/09 at 7:48pmSpider, I don't think the show is going for realism. The tone of the show is very tongue-in-cheek. You just have to allow yourself to buy into the altered reality these characters live in.

Posted: 10/17/09 at 10:15pmWell, I would fall for a guy if he was singing at me like that.... just saying!

xxnewgirlxx - True. I don't know. I just feel like, what's the point of even worrying about sectionals when you are better than 99% of choirs within two seconds of getting the sheet music. I mean, you even have your own reverb. How cool is that?
#470Sam's .gif of the week
Posted: 10/19/09 at 11:27amI hope they don't have every guy falling for Rachel. I'd much rather have Puck fall for Tina! LOL

I'm kind of off Glee. Loved the pilot, loved "Preggers." As for the rest of the experience, it's a little trying on the patience.
Ditto--the immediate proficiency with a song right after getting the sheet music is rather grating. The autotune is weird. Lip sync, and oh god the choreography. I skip the musical scenes and watch the drama stuff, and that's not really holding my interest, either.
I like seeing TALENTED people on tv though. Singers, dancers, comedians as well as actors. Broadway people are hardworking and it's nice to see them doing stuff on a bigger stage.

Well he's supposed to be a male diva, should be interesting. But yay for Jonathan Groff :)
I feel like Puck wears eyeliner in the clip where he's singing Sweet Caroline. Is it just me?
Best thing I've read today from Chris Colfer's Twitter: There is on "CTRL" button on Sue Sylvester's computer. Sue Sylvester is always in control.
