Loved the Rachel/Puck scenes, which surprised me cos I was so not feeling them together. When she was washing his mohawk in the bathroom I about melted. The bleacher scene was great to. I also really like Kurt "taking one for the team". However, my favorite line was Mercedes screaming "MY WEAVE!!" lol lol
Puck is so sexy when he's nice. He was a little hurt--it's hard to tell how he really feels about Rachel. Is it more than being a "bad Jew?" He sang a solo for her. I liked them together.
Finn gets manipulated all the time, so it was nice seeing him telling an authority figure how he really felt.
Really enjoying this show, episode by episode it's really growing. I loved hearing Emma sing..AND Sue dance. What a treat! (I'm looking over Matthew attempting 'Bust a Move' and 'Thong Song'...)

Preview of Defying Gravity with Kurt/Rachel.
I'm so glad that Kurt isn't singing the whole thing, I was dreading hearing him screech out the last notes.

I was just thinking....is Kurt still on the football team?

^nope, he had been for a while but in this week's episode it was mentioned that he resigned from the football team once it was going to be in direct competition with glee :)

they never showed him resigning... but they said how he resigned which was hilarious... i think he did it while everyone was in the shower

Taz, I was just coming to post the same thing!
To satisfy the "Gleeks," aka fans of new frosh series Glee, FOX said it will release the first 13 episodes of its music-filled drama on DVD at the end of this year, per Variety. 'Glee' Season One: Road to Sectionals will be available in stores by December 29. The 13-episode set will also contain a director's cut of the pilot episode as well as behind-the-scenes features, cast audition clips and music performances from the show. Later in mid-2010 the full first season of Glee will be released on DVD, picking up the new original episodes slated to air on FOX next spring. The 13-episode set, coming out this December will also include a voucher toward the purchase of the full season box set.
Wait...so "part two" will be the entire season? Including the episodes from part one? In that case I'll just have to wait, I just can't bring myself to buy the same thing twice :/

some info regarding the DVD release.. and it's this comment several down that caught my attention... i really hope it's true...
No, there will be a full Season 1 DVD and BR released in May.
And people who buy this release (which only has the first 13 episodes) get a voucher that gives them a 50% discount off the May releases. So although you'll end up with two copies of the first 13 episodes, you're not being cheated on double-dip wise.

Im meeting the cast mondayyyy Im so excited =]
You are going to one of the signings? That's awesome. Have fun!
I may go to the one by me. I'm just not going to be a happy Tink if I show up and Mr. Matt is not there. And not because security warned him.....
I missed not gaving Glee last night.
I love the show called Glee. It's so awesome!
I hope I get to go to one of the signings.
https://www.broadwayworld.com/article/GLEE_Casts_Rendition_of_Journeys_Dont_Stop_Believin_Goes_Gold_20091029
In yet another sign that Glee has gone from smash comedy hit to cultural phenomenon, the cast's rendition of Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" has just been certified Gold for digital sales in excess of 500,000 downloads, and to date, over two million Glee songs have been purchased online. Seven songs from Glee now occupy spots in the top 200 of iTunes' Top Songs chart and Newsweek recently observed that the FOX series' "rabid online fanbase has given the show's music a life of its own." It's this fervor for the music that prompted the New York Times to say "from Cabaret' to Kanye, Songs of Glee' are a hit" and the Los Angeles Times to add "this comedy has become music to our ears."
Is the next episode really not airing until 11/11? sigh.....
Just got the Glee soundtrack and "Defying Gravity" is amazing in full form (minus the ending). I love Kurt. The end!

I'm sorry, but are you kidding? Defying Gravity is complete CRAP (especially with the neutered ending) and it's only 2 minutes long. Dancing with Myself is ridiculously boring and a complete waste of both Kevin McHale's talent and the great song.
Finally having all the songs sitting there, in iTunes for me is pretty awesome though (I waited until the album came out to buy any of them so that I could get the discounted price). It's just a shame that these songs I was looking forward to came out badly.
I'm just praying (and salivating) that the Hair/Crazy in Love mashup will be good...I was hoping they'd do more mashups anyway and this one's pretty amazing.

Defying Gravity was HORRIBLE. I hate that version and, as usual, it sounds awfully autotuned. I didn't love Dancing With Myself but any Artie is pretty good! The extended version of Quinn's I Say a Little Prayer is fun too.

Awh, I actually like Defying Gravity! There are some nice harmonies and its great to hear Kurt sing. I'm actually kind of happy they changed the ending...I don't know how that would have worked.
Dancing With Myself, however...not sure how I feel. Its kind of repetitive. But I'll wait to see how its done in the show and then decide if I really like it in context :)
