Automatically downloaded the new album after the show was over tonight, April is going to be a long time coming. It was by far Lea Michele's best performance tonight, she really kicked @(#)$. Even better compared to her performance live at Spring Awakening I thought. And I teared up also when Matthew Morrison did also, glad to see I wasn't the only one on the list!
loved loved loved the finale....I am a teacher and I direct the spring musical and I instruct the colorguard in marching band and winter guard and when you see your students overcome obstacles and just do the best they can you get choked up and Matthew Morrison completely portrayed that wonderfully.
My favorite parts were Artie raming his wheelchair into the wall, hearing the deaf choir sing Don't Stop Believin, The judges room (Sarah Newlin in the house), and Sue Slyvester's lines. I will leave you with my favorite Sue line of the episode...can't believe we have to wait to April
Sue: “Bring it on, William. I’m reasonably confident you’ll be adding revenge to the long list of things you’re no good at. Next to being married, running a high school glee club, and finding a hairstyle that doesn’t make you look like a lesbian.”
Such a knockout episode! It's going to be a long wintery wait for the show to resume in April.

I've been hard on this show sometimes but its episodes like tonight that help me realize why I keep watching! Absolutely wonderful, hilarious, poignant, all at once! Did anyone else squeal like a little girl when Will got up to run to Emma?? I could not stop! So adorable :)

The writing still needs to be sharpened. For example,
***spoiler alert***
one of the judges said that the Glee kids looked under rehearsed, yet we saw no sign of that.
all the emphasis was put on the kids going to sectionals, yet nobody tells Will they won until days later?
Emma tells Will "You just left your wife" and then five minutes later changes her mind and is kissing him in the hall? The kiss should have been put off.
This episode was the best of the season. No ego from Rachel, Emma finally stood up for herself, they pulled everything together... perfect. They left some loose ends but it wasn't a major cliffhanger.
The Kelly Clarkson song was pretty good, too.
Did anyone else squeal like a little girl when Will got up to run to Emma??
Yes!
"Did anyone else squeal like a little girl when Will got up to run to Emma??"
Oh boy, did I ever!! I was actually talking to the tv, saying "Kiss her, please kiss her!"
This episode was fantastic!
Soooooooooooooooooooooo good. I'm so pissed it is off the next four months.
My mother got into the show the last two episodes with me which is fun. She loves musicals so when she realized Rachel made her entrance, she got exactly what she meant when she said she was preparing for this since she was four'.
violet, I find it hilarious that I keep on finding Newlin's wife on these shows that I love. First The Office, now Glee. I hope she finds permanent work somewhere on a show, she's really good.
I wonder what is going to happen to Quinn. I am assuming Finn is kicking her out of the house- if not already- and also that Puck will have to bring her in to live with his crazy mom and sister. I am trying to imagine what her parents will think finding out Puck's the father cuz if they freaked out over Finn, I cannot imagine how they will react to Puck (which I why in a way I excuse Quinn's behavior on the topic since who knows how worse her parents would have been to her if they knew the truth immediately).
So no more Terri now or is she and the whole storyline going to go bye-bye with the baby once Quinn has it?

Will obviously knew they won: he knew the judges were unanimous. It was them showing him the trophy for the first time.
Regionals also means we get to see the school that freaked them out with their rendition of "Rehab" in the first ever episode. Jonathan Groff's part is supposedly the leader of that school's glee club. And now just repeating that fact makes me want to fast forward 4 months from now.

Puck's line about being late for Fight Club was just too hilarious!
I loved this episode!! I'm bummed it's going to be so long before we see a new one.
"Puck's line about being late for Fight Club was just too hilarious!"
So, will Puck be thrown out of Fight Club for talking about Fight Club?
Also, would it be asking too much for the writers to put in a story line involving Sue's mother, and casting Elaine Stritch in the role?

That would be brilliant...also Idina Menzel is in talks to guest star but not as Rachel's biological mother but as the director of their rival group and Kristen Chenowith will be making another appearance....maybe they will put it on sooner?? A girl can dream
I also think Will knew they won he just didn't see the Trophy and the kiss didn't happen in 5 minutes. The "wedding" was on a Saturday and the kiss happened Monday after school
Idina Menzel has been officially cast (according to zap2it.com) as the head of Vocal Adrenaline and will appear in all nine episodes in the spring.
My favorite line of the night was something like:
Figgins: You smear the name of McKinley!
Sue: A failed president!
Figgins: He was the best president ever!
The episode was all sorts of awesome! I loved Emma's morality speech to the other coaches. Finn/Will in the locker room was adorable "Being special....it sucks". I'm not a Rachel fan but I like how they finally made her likeable last night. Santana admitting she likes Glee. Artie running his wheelchair into the wall. When Will was crying on the phone during the performances I was crying with him!!! Matt is incredible!!! And I say that without bias seeming he will be marrying me one day, he just doesn't know it yet!
I wasn't for the Emma/Will kiss but it works. I didn't squeal there, I squealed of course when Sue made fun of Will's hair!
Cannot wait until April, this is just torture! Oh and I am so NOT for the Idina casting news, but whatever, as long as others enjoy it.
I thought last night was amazing!
I looooooved it!! Puck's fight club? Mr. Shue's lesbian hair cut? The judges and their comments? Artie crashing his wheel chair? All brilliant!!

I'm going to agree that I wasn't all crazy about the Will/Emma kiss. Maybe because up until last night, I really only saw Emma as obsessed with Will, in a weird way.
On that top 10 list, I would have included the Halo/Walking On Sunshine mashup before Dancing With Myself. That song just did nothing for me.
"Walking on Sunshine" worked because it is fun looking back knowing the girls were as high as kites.
I wish Will just told Emma to stay. I would prefer the kiss to have been a tease.
I don't take Emma-Will as an unrequited obsession, the "I Could've Danced All Night" (That also belongs in the Top 10) seemed to show a mutual attraction.
I still say "Gold Digger" (maybe just you and me, Evie!), "Alone" and "Endless Love" are the best song performances so far, with "Don't Rain On My Parade" and "My Life Would Suck Without You" added to the list after last night.
