gas prices in your city.
how many shows could you see for the cost of gas in one month.
sacramento, ca $4.21.
it's actually been steadily declining for about a month. a month ago it was $4.57.
i burn through $150/ month with very light driving. so that's a couple shows there.

I saw gas for 3.69 the other night--but didn't have a chance to get it because I was running late to see Kathy Griffin! But yes--they are definitely going down. I paid 3.89 tonight.
Anyone noticing a certain... recurring theme when elections are coming up and Republicans might be in trouble?
Just wait until December. They'll be back up.

Yeah the gas prices went down around the time of the last election 2 years ago.
I paid 3.95 yesterday. Two weeks ago it was like 4.10.

Posted: 7/29/08 at 8:40amI live in NJ, and prices here are usually better than most places. I paid $3.79 last week. This weekend, I was up in Connecticut, and prices there ranged from $4.19 to $4.43.

I am jealous that you were going to see Kathy Griffin!
I'm in the NY boroughs, so gas prices are stupidly high. I try and wait until I'm in NJ to really fill up. And even there, the cheaper prices are in the towns, not off the main highways.

Yea, regular gas is going down, but us diesel engines are still paying almost $4.75/gal.
Half a tank of gas for me was nearly 50 bucks.

Posted: 7/29/08 at 10:44amYeah, they're on the decline in upstate NY, too. I got the most wonderful surprise: I stopped at a Hess whose sign said regular was 4.15, and then when I got the pump, I saw it was actually 3.98! They hadn't changed their big sign yet.

Posted: 7/29/08 at 10:59amLast night, I saw gas for $3.57 in Bay City, MI. I think I had a mild heart attack, considering every other gas station we passed from Houghten, MI to Corunna, MI (about an 8 to 9 hour drive) was between $3.89 and $4.25.

according to bammy the prices are fine it's just that they went up kinda quick. according to him, we're just going to have to get used to these higher prices.

Oil prices continue to fall today, which bodes well for gas prices continuing to decline. Americans drove 9.6 BILLION fewer miles in May 2008 compared to May 2007 (see link below). That's been the primary force in pushing prices down.

yeah, because the elections are pretty much right around the corner. or wait, maybe they're three months away. i'm sure the prices won't change at all between now and then.

How long before PalJoey gets the news that Hillary ain't gonna be VP or on the Supreme Court and that right now she's on the medium-short list for Secretary of the Navy?
