He bugs me for some reason too, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. Mara is an interesting choice--at least it means Sue may be less bland than Alba. My only confusion is does this mean Johnny and Sue will not be blood siblings? I certainly have no objection to Jordan playing the role--he seems good casting.

I think everyone is asking that question Eric.

I'm sure they'll have a good explanation.

Maybe it will as simple as revealing that their parents were an inter-racial couple.

Have the Storms' parents ever appeared in the comics?

From my understanding, I think it was THR that mentioned it, the Human Torch is "being reworked" so I assume they won't be related.

I understand that appearances can influence our perception of people and perhaps it is "natural" to seek an explanation when confronted with people of different skin color who are alleged to be siblings, but--c'mon!

No-one balks at or questions the idea that he turned into the Human Torch and she acquired invisibility as a result of being blasted by "cosmic rays", but we NEED an explanation as to why the actors playing the roles have different skin colors???

The ways in which people choose to suspend their disbelief seems very odd to me.

In other Marvel news--Netflix & Disney announced that the upcoming "Daredevil", "Jessica Jones", "Iron Fist" and "Luke Cage" series--which will debut on Netflix--are going to be filmed right here in New York City.

The four series will, apparently, take Netflix members "deep into the gritty world of heroes and villains of Hell's Kitchen."

Hmmm--I doubt that. Just in case, though, I have a couple of villains I'd like to nominate...
