Thanks for the update Penny. I hope Norn knows how much he means to all of us around here. My prayers are that he has a speedy recovery. BTW can you give that whistling doctor my phone number. I have a thing for doctors who know how to whistle..."you do know how to whistle"

I just came from the hospital, and Norn says to thank everyone for their well-wishes. He had a big smile on his face and almost showed me his scar.

I tried to explain to his mom--who IS adorable!--just how much we all love him and why.

I brought him Patti's appearance on the View Thursday--which took place just as they were operating!--and he put it on his laptop and there was Patti, blaring "Some People" loud enough to disturb all of Mt Sinai.

He goes home tomorrow, will be at home for a bout a week, then he's going down to North Carolina to stay with his mother for a week.

And don't worry, Boobs--he said there are LOTS of cute doctors at Mt Sinai.

I spoke with Norn a few minutes before he headed off to Dreamland tonight. He sounds like the "old Norn," and I mean the one I knew before this nasty business began months ago. He's looking forward to going home...maybe the cute doctors make house calls. (And, believe me, there are MANY good-looking doctors at that hospital. They're so gorgeous they looked like soap opera doctors! Mama Norn and I were having a good time in that waiting room Thursday! I suppose this sounds rather shallow of me. Oh well!)

Okay, well. He's not home because they decided one more night in the hospital would be better. Personally, I am not in favor of "rushing" people out of the hospital, so I think this is good.
