Gilmore Girls

How many people love this show? I for sure do... and I definitely like how they have a lot of random referances to Broadway. None of my friends get them though... lol

re: Gilmore Girls

I adore this show. I think it's great that the show's loveable young heroine is a whip-smart, avid reader and a real role model, unlike some other plastic idols.

re: Gilmore Girls

I love how they talk so fast. It's so comical.
This is my signature.

re: Gilmore Girls

I'm obsessed with this show! I can't wait 'til a new episode airs (this Tuesday), it's been repeats for what seems like months!

re: Gilmore Girls

Wasn't the episode this last Tuesday new? I saw it and thought it was, but it may have been the last one from before the hiatus.
I love the show, I avoided watching it for forever even while my wife watched it every week. Then we started watching the reruns everyday and I noticed I really started caring. I always loved the acting and characters, except Dean. I hate Dean.
I stand corrected, you are as vapid as they say.

I hate Dean, too. He needs a good bitch-slap.

re: Gilmore Girls

Yes, MEF. Please let him get a huge bitch slap. I was hoping Luke would deck him on Tuesday.
I stand corrected, you are as vapid as they say.

re: Gilmore Girls

Ooh, was Tuesday new? Here's how much of a dork I am:
I don't get the WB channel here at school, so my mom tapes it and sends me the tapes. And I haven't gotten that one yet. Now I can't wait to see it.

re: Gilmore Girls

I love this show so much! I watch it every Tuesday and also every weekday at 5 on ABC family. I love Rory and Lorelai's relationship together and how they're best friends.

re: Gilmore Girls

I absolutely ADORE this show!! It's one of my favorites on the WB right now. Hehehe. I have to say that I really didn't like Dean that much (don't hate me all you Dean fans out there). I just thought he was a bit too whiney. But I love Logan!! *Sigh*
Yes, I'm pinay. And I'm proud of it!

re: Gilmore Girls

Hate Logan. Hate Dean. Hate Jess, too, come to think of it. That show has a nasty habit of making great introductions for young male characters, then magically sucking their brains out as soon as they become Rory's boyfriends.

And Dean's wrong about Lorelai- she chose Star's Hollow, and she's happy with that. She's never been tempted to go back to her parents' world. Rory doesn't know what she's chosen yet; the limo-and-trust-fund crowd definitely appeals to her.

By the way, finally being able to read threads about the show without worries about being spoiled = joy.

re: Gilmore Girls

I hate Logan... he's obnoxious and has turned Rory into a much more loose person than she should be. True, Lorelai chose Stars Hollow... Dean is just trying to mirror his own life into Luke's... or something... but it's sad that the show has been declining... They seriously should have some Emmys though.

re: Gilmore Girls

I love, love, love this show as well. BrdwayBaby, my favorite episode is Love, Daisies and Troubadours as well. Anyone notice how the troubadour just sort of disappeared after season 2. I really liked him.

I don't like Jess!! He was good at the beginning, but by the third season his character was all sullened out.

Love Paris.

re: Gilmore Girls

I wish they hadn't made Kirk a regualar character. A little Kirk goes a long way.

On the other hand, I find Paris always very entertaining.

re: Gilmore Girls

Jon - I'm in total agreement - whenever Kirk comes on screen, I cringe - he's just too much - but Paris is amazing! Did you know she originally read for the role of Rory - but didn't get the part - then later they wrote the role of Paris just for her because they liked her acting so much?!
"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

re: Gilmore Girls

Yayy, I love how everyone here loves this show too! I have watched it since the beginning, and am honestly addicted. I adore Lauren Graham - she is brilliant on that show as Lorelei, absolutely hysterical.

re: Gilmore Girls

The troubadour is Grant Lee Phillips. He performed a lot of his own music on the show... I really want his Virginia Creeper CD... and I miss him oh so much too! I love Kirk... hee hee... but this week's episode had too much Taylor... he's a bad actor... For those of you who don't know, Kelly Bishop who plays Emily was in the original cast of A Chorus Line and won a Tony for her performance!

re: Gilmore Girls

i adore this show. My mom and i watch it every week and the two protagonists remind us of ourselves. Kirk was better when he had a smaller role. I likes Jess the most out of all rory's boyfriends and i absolutlly love kelly bishop! she is perfect for the role.
"At the opening night party, they had clowns on stilts, jugglers, a chocolate fountain, popcorn, hot dogs. [My son] looked at me like I had been holding back. Like, 'This is what you do?' I had to tell him, 'No, no, darling. Opening nights don't usually look like this.' It's usually a dark bar with a bottle of vodka." ?Chitty Chitty Bang Bang's Jan Maxwell plus i proudly share the title of the shortest member over the age of 10 with wickedrentq!
