re: Gilmore Girls

Kelly Bishop is fantastic. I just realized that it was the lack of the grandparents, along with the presence of Dean that made me a little down on the latest episode. I love Kirk though.
I stand corrected, you are as vapid as they say.

re: Gilmore Girls

Lauren Graham and Kelly Bishop both deserve Emmys (best actress and best supporting actress, respectively) for their work on this show.

re: Gilmore Girls

Well, Emily was present in spirit. Right? re: Gilmore Girls We definitely need more grandparents and less Kirk.

Anyway, I'm pretty proud of the show for showing Richard's scheming, nasty side and Emily's vulnerabilities this season. I think they've had the best character development of anyone, though the qualities of their actors certainly helps.

After seeing Sin City, I can't look at Rory the same way again.

re: Gilmore Girls

I love this show, it's the only one where they talk as fast as I do! And even though I didn't like Jess, doesn't everyone else think he's so much hotter than Dean? My friend and I have a permanent argument going on about this

re: Gilmore Girls

I have been sickly OBSESSED with this show since Day 1!! Such a great show...my friends and I watch it like nerds with my mom (we have a similar but less witty relationship than Lorelai & Rory). It may be because I'm a sap who loves the show...but I love all the characters...whenever ASP brings a new love interest onto the show, I fall in love with him!! Then she brings another one on...*sighs* oh that show...

re: Gilmore Girls

Wow I could talk about this show for hours. Love it so much. Lauren Graham is definetly one of my favorite actresses on tv right now. The show is just so... smart. It's so witty. And so fast. I love all the references they make. Everything about it is amazing. I love Luke and Lorelai together, too. I had never seen the one where they first kissed (I don't know how), and it was on last week as one of the top 5 on ABC fam. The bestest episode ever!! How cute are they? Oh, and I loved Jess, hated Dean, and love Logan. So there ya go. Kirk annoys the holy heck out of me, and I loathe the grandparents. Even though they do make it interesting. So... who wants to talk more about it?

re: Gilmore Girls

i'll talk some more about it. However i think it has gone downhill. It is a shame.
"At the opening night party, they had clowns on stilts, jugglers, a chocolate fountain, popcorn, hot dogs. [My son] looked at me like I had been holding back. Like, 'This is what you do?' I had to tell him, 'No, no, darling. Opening nights don't usually look like this.' It's usually a dark bar with a bottle of vodka." ?Chitty Chitty Bang Bang's Jan Maxwell plus i proudly share the title of the shortest member over the age of 10 with wickedrentq!

re: Gilmore Girls

I actually prefer the later episodes. Maybe it's because I love finally seeing Luke and Lorelai together. Although I always love the episodes with Christopher in them.

re: Gilmore Girls

I really enjoy the whole thing but I think this season has had some fantastic episodes. I don't know how you can hate the Grandparents, they do some mean things but they are two of the most well written and acted characters on television. They have so much depth and even hating what they do you can always see why they do it.
I stand corrected, you are as vapid as they say.

re: Gilmore Girls

True. The characters are very well written. Maybe it's because I hate the guy who plays the grandfather (what's his name?). I just think he is a horrible actor. Very stiff and not-believable.

I love this show! Just became more or less obsessed with it this year.

Ashley, I like that wallpaper. Which episode is it from?

re: Gilmore Girls

I actually have no idea. I was kind of wondering that myself. Only 20 min. until its on tonight.

re: Gilmore Girls

Emily and Richard are out of their minds - but I have a love/hate relationship with their characters - Kelly Bishop better win some kind of award for her performance - she's intense!
I don't see Rory and Logan staying together. It just doesn't feel right.
"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

re: Gilmore Girls

I agree so much redhot, Emily and Richard just seem layered and that dinner seen last night had me laughing out loud every time they cut to Emily, it was fabulous.
I think the whole "out of town job" is trying to put some tension back in Luke in Loreli, but that there will be a big proposal soon. Logan does not seem right and I'm sure there is some build up for some horrible crash for Rory there. I kind of like him a weird way though.
I stand corrected, you are as vapid as they say.

re: Gilmore Girls

a little tiny voive in the back of my mind is thinking... thinking... thinking that Rory will leave Logan and have an affair with his father... also, the previews hinted at a possible pregnancy for Lorelei... and wouldn't THAT just set Emily's hair on fire...
#49

re: Gilmore Girls

I've loved GG since the first episode! I watch the oldies but goodies on abc family almost everyday cuz it's nice to go back to when Rory and Lorelei were together all the time.

joeyjoe-I was thinking the same thing about Rory cheating on Logan with his dad. :)

I adore the grandparents! Kelly is one of my favorite characters on tv, eventhough I hate some of the things she does.

When I used to watch earlier episode with my mom, she used to yell at Lorelei-"You fool! Why aren't you with Luke?"
