Ok - so this is gonna sound SO gay, but I happen to enjoy The Gilmore Girls - the writing just cracks me up some nights. Some of the relationships are a bit cartoonish, unfortunately - but it seems to me that the writing just gets better and better. Last night was so funny that I had to call my other half and we watched it over the phone together. I couldn't stop laughing...now that they have really started to explore Lorelie's mother - she is a wonderful character, and is becomming so well-fleshed-out. See it if you can.

"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" It's magic! Haha your request was heard by the virgin Rob either him or Craig (I forget the name we gave him though). re: re: re: re: Gilmore Girls, anyone? Sorry I just thought of that for the first time in awhile haha. (It stems from a post about how awesome the website was, it was funny at the time. i must admit that since my wife is a gg fan i have been subjected to it for the better part of two years now and do find it sometimes quite funny. the writing is for the most part interesting and alive and it's fast fast fast. plus lauren graham's way hot. and yeah, last night was pretty darn funny.

This used to be my favorite show, I would never miss it. But since this year started, I just haven't been interested. Lorelai's new boyfriend?? What is that?? They aren't being true to the characters, and I realized I have better things to do than watch it anyway (like come on here!! gosh, I am such a loser).

I must have missed that episode - and yeah - what IS it about her new beau? he's not at all attractive and definitely not what I would picture her with - but as far as I'm concerned, the best characters in the show at the moment are her parents - they crack me up. And I have a crush on the guy who runs the Diner...(don't tell my boyfriend...LOL)....

I love Jason (aka Digger). I think he and Lorelie are perfect together. I thought the guest room part was soo funny. I wish she would tell her parents about the relationship already!

I don't get how all of a sudden they stopped exploring the relationship between Paris and her teacher. That was like this big thing and now it's never mentioned?

I think it's awesome that Laine (sp?) moved out of her house (even though it was because her mother kicked her out). I was actually so relieved when her Mom found all of the stuff she had been hiding in her room.

Kelly Bishop is probably my favorite actor on the show (besides Lauren Graham). Her character (Emily) is so uptight, yet great. Last week's episode and last night's episode were really good. That nervous breakdown was just brewing until last night when she finally cracked. I really like that they are incorporating Lorelie's parents into the show more and more.

Question: That was Marion Ross playing the Aunt last night, correct? Even though she also played the Grandmother who died in the same episode. Just goes to show you how diverse her acting can be. She looked awesome if it was her....either that or they did one hell of a casting job finding a look-a-like.

I have see every episode since day one and I still love the show. I really hope they start putting the seasons on DVD.

I think Marion Ross was wonderful on both roles - yes she IS diverse in her acting styles. And Kelly Bishop - amazing!...did you catch Lorelie's little breakdown in the underwire bra department while shopping for Granny's panties?LOL....I loved it when they decided to let her go "comando"..what great writing!
And what about when Mom said " I think we should just throw some cubed cheese in the coffin, stick some toothpicks in her mouth and let everyone have at it!"

I literally fell off of my chair when she said that. The show was absolutely priceless on Tuesday. Personally I loved the 2nd cousin situation...since that has happened in so many more families than people could even imagine.

But Jason not going to the funeral was just bizarre. His time is up...I agree...but Luke isn't ready for admitting his love for Lorelei. Actually, she may not be ready either! LOL!

What do you all think about Dean and his sighing every time he sees Rory?

I absolutely adore GilGals! It's probably the most underrated and unrewarded show on the tube. Luke and Dean both DRIVE ME NUTS with their indecisiveness, but that's what keeps it interesting.

what with me being older - I don't really focus on the Rory situations so much - though I do love Laine and her battles with her conservative mother - that stuff is timeless. If Luke admits his love for Loreli, its all over - you have to keep the tension going or there's no show. Just keep giving me more of that Kelly Bishop...I LOVE HER.

I agree it could spell the end if they do have Luke and Lorelei...but truth is that in the realm of Stars Hallow...there are no 2 people more perfect for each other.

As for Rory...I'm older as well...but I happen to like the relationship she has with her mom b/c it reminds me of me and my mom (also a fan of the show btw!).

But I agree 1000% on Kelly Bishop. I can not get the look out of my head that she had when Lorelei and Sukie walked in to the house.

there are SO many great one-liners in that show - for instance, when Sukie said to Loreli "your father's in his robe" to which Lorelie replies (after seeing her mother's condition) "We seem to have become a robe wearing family"...
or when she said "...mom will be working at the local truck stop next week..."
or when Mom says "Don't forget to write a thank you note to Pennylyne Laugt - just for being Pennylynne Laugt!"

OMG, me too lol And I was cracking up when Sukie said, "Is she broken?" Kelly Bishop really does a phenominal job with that role. She makes you love Emily one minute, hate her the next, feel sorry for her after that. Really it's an Emmy Award Winning (or at least nomination worthy) role the way she plays it.

I assume this mean Marion Ross will be a return guest star in future episodes as the cousin now? I hope so. I liked the way she played the cousin even better than the Grandmother.

I think Lorelie's breakdown in the store was interesting since her mother had a similar breakdown in a department store just the week before. I love how they're starting to show just how similar those two really are. And when they were in the mall and Emily complimented Lorelie on how she's handeling her new business negotiations was sweet. Perhaps her Mother is starting to gain respect for her. re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: gilmore girls, anyone?

I think Lauren Graham (Lorelei) has some of the best one-liners written for an actress on TV today.

the ONLY thing I dont like about all the witty repartee is that its a little forced - not very realistic by my way of thinking - but it never ceases to get a laugh out of me - and as long as they can do that - I will keep watching.

I agree - it can be forced at times but it is so funny. I loved what she said Tuesday night to her mother when she found out that her grandmother and grandfather were 2nd cousins - somthing about the Appalachians and having 12 toes . . . .
