I wasn't sure what to expect from this show, but it's really funny, with 30 Rock/Kimmy Schmidt-style comedy. The first episode is free, but there's a 7-day free trial of Premium for anyone who wants to binge all 8 episodes, which are available now. I highly recommend it. Here's a clip:

Not sure why it won’t let me have Peacock in the title on the threads list. Maybe a mod can fix that for me?

I haven't seen it but have heard great things thus far.
I also recently heard the soundtrack and didn't think it was quite tolerable... I guess the opening and closing songs were okay, but SIX did a similar "number pun" first (counting from 1-6 in the title song, and "Famous5Eva" uses 5-1 in a sense). "I'm Afraid" has some Minchin-esque lyrics:
"Oh, back to my kid, I have more stuff about him
I only breastfed for four months, is he gonna be a bomb trader?
And I'm afraid that I'm lucky enough to be 80
I'll be one of those ladies who's entire scalp is visible when the sun shines through her salmon colored hair
And I'm afraid that someone will find out that I memorize all the words to Macklemore's 'Thrift Shop'
Or that I bought seven seasons of The Mentalist
And of course, I'm afraid that somewhere, deep inside of me, is a lost tampon"
At the very least, this soundtrack gave off the feel that the group is a one-hit wonder, but outside of context, this is hardly memorable, like Richmond's score for Mean Girls.
How does this possibly work well with the screenplay?

I’m really digging it, very similar to 30 Rock in tone which I did not expect. The “Dolly” cameo had me in stitches.
I think Busy Phillips is the weak link unfortunately. She seems to be doing a Sara Chase in Kimmy Schmidt impression.

I’m enjoying it! I love the Tina Fey tv show model. So I’m all in. It’s weird quirky. I’m into it. I’m not sure how they can sustain it in terms of a series but I’m only 3 episodes in.
Also check out “Rutherford Falls” on Peacock. Pretty funny and nice to see some Indigenous people in an nbc sitcom.
