I simply cannot believe Alice in Wonderland or Burlesque got nominated. I slept through the first one, and as much as I enjoyed Burlesque, it was just gay candy. And I beg differ with anyone who thinks Easy A deserved any nomination besides Emma's.

I love the fact Jacki Weaver managed a nomination for "Animal Kingdom". I had a friend who was interviewing her recently, (she's onstage with Cate Blanchett in "Uncle Vanya" until January) and she said something like "Yeah, they wanted to fly me to the states and hit the awards trail, but instead I'm over here doing this ****!" then they doubled over with laughter and had another drink.

My money is on Jacki Weaver to win Best Supporting Actress and to be Oscar nominated. Well done Jac.

She didn't get a SAG nomination so it's doubtful.
