Posted: 1/16/11 at 7:21pmPersonally, I love HBC's whole attitude/wardrobe. I think it's hysterical.

Posted: 1/16/11 at 7:35pmI can't decide if I like the big flower on Portman's dress or if it's a bad idea

ScarJo and Sandra Bullock each are distracting me with their hair.
Loved Mila Kunis' dress.

Posted: 1/16/11 at 7:38pmIt is a BAD idea Eris; as for HBC I mean what the actual f**k?

I'm very disappointed in HBC.
I love Lea Michele's dress.

I love that the Gibson girl from "Room with a View" ended up so badass.
ScarJo looks like Elsa Lanchester. Not in a good way.

I kinda like the fact that HBC is wearing two different shoes. It made me laugh when I saw it.
I don't like Piper Perabo's bow though
Every Glee person looks great and Jane Krakowski is just glowing (to use an overused pregnant phrase)

Posted: 1/16/11 at 7:56pmAll the Glee girls got it right, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE Elizabeth Moss's dress!

Anne Hathaway had a nice retro vibe (shoulder pads and all) vibe
I am surprised/shocked Elisabeth Moss ended up the best dressed of the Mad Men actresses. January Jones and Christina Hendricks' dresses are both a bit overdone.

HBC looks like she's trying too hard.
I actually love Natalie Portman's look and dress. (think I'm in the minority judging by FB and comments on the photos)
Red Carpet arrival shows are always little train wrecks...

I think the dress looks great. It drapes over her baby bump perfectly. I would have lost the stem on the rose; I think it draws too much attention to the wrong place.

Posted: 1/16/11 at 8:02pmScarlett Johanson's dress would look better if it was on Helen Mirren or Diane Keaton. A.k.a it's wayyyyyy to old for her.

Posted: 1/16/11 at 8:02pmSo far Ricky Gervais is cringe-inducing.

Posted: 1/16/11 at 8:05pmYes, the crowd didn't seem to like most of his jokes

Ok, his Tom Cruise (Scientology) joke was awesome.
(assume this thread has moved beyond the red carpet arrivals to the actual show...?)

I was rooting for Rush. Bummer.
ETA - I know that Bale was the 'favorite'.

Posted: 1/16/11 at 8:11pmI honestly thought Kyra would get the award mostly because the show is going off the air but it's nice to see Katy get her first win.

Posted: 1/16/11 at 8:11pmI'm shocked Katey Segal won but, I am so happy. My second choice after Moss. Hopefully this gets Emmy voters attention that she plays an awesome character.

Posted: 1/16/11 at 8:13pmAnyone else a little irked that they described Elizabeth Moss's character as a "secretary"? Peggy Olson would not be happy about that :/
#23Golden Globes Red Carpet Fashion (now - EST)

^^^^^^Yes! She's a copywriter (and in Mad Men time it has been YEARS since she was a secretary) who saved the company, dagnabbit! I would be shocked if Peggy isn't ruling the world by the end of the series.
