I find myself missing The Nanny at 5&5:30 and the Golden Girls at 6&6:30 more and more. I miss the days of coming home from volleyball practice just in time to catch the second episode of The Nanny, and then the Golden Girls. I know others feel this way, so SPILL IT. Reba does not deserve this time frame!

I know what you mean. Though I no longer have TV, I used to love watching THE NANNY, followed by THE GOLDEN GIRLS, while I ate my supper... very slowly, I might add.

Have you tried watching this REBA show? I never have, but it could grow on you. No? Okay, I'll shut up now.

Gotta love the Nanny and The Golden Girls! I always call these my "stay at home sick" shows haha. They play them during the day as well, and along with The Price is Right, that is pretty much my day when I'm feeling Icky lol. As for Reba....I definitely haven't seen that one, I just can't stand her for some reason.

As much as I love Reba, I do miss the Primetime shows. Still Standing isn't even funny and at night we're restricted to Golden Girls at 1 in the freakin' morning. Why is FRASIER on LIFETIME? WHY? An hour of that show is ridiculous.

I don't WANT to live in what they call "a certain way." In the first place I'd be no good at it and besides that I don't want to be identified with any one class of people. I want to live every whichway, among all kinds---and know them---and understand them---and love them---THAT's what I want! - Philip Barry (Holiday)

I'm actually liking Frasier. I would have never stopped to watch it had it not been on lifetime, but so far I've seen Patti LuPone guest starring, Bebe Neuwirth has a recurring role, and I've noticed three Desperate Housewives actresses making appearances too. Frasier makes me happy now.

I'm liking Fraiser, but I don't like Still Standing or Reba. I've watched both several times and I can't bring myself to like either. And because of my schedule, I can't watch The Nanny or Golden Girls at the limited times they are on.

I like fraiser as well, although it's not my favorite. Nothing beats The Nanny!!! lol

I think I might be the only person who doesn't like the Nanny. Just can't stand Fran Drescher.

I actually long for the days of DESIGNING WOMEN followed by THE GOLDEN GIRLS in the mornings and the evenings!

I couldn't stand DESIGNING WOMEN! IMO too preachy and not funny at all.

I liked Designing Women before they changed casts. And I enjoyed the preachy factor, especially in the episode where there's a news stand around the corner that has a cardboard cutout of a woman on a leash, or something like that.

I wish Lifetime was the All Golden Girls network with a few movies about spousal abuse and eating disorders wedged in between episodes.

SG, as usual your post made me laugh! Lifetime movies are just so "victim" oriented.

My brother calls it "the man-hating channel."

It's not about man-hating per se. It's about woman-loving. So tell your brother to kiss it.

I LOVE Still Standing, and was so excited when I was sick a couple of weeks ago - two eps at noon, and two more at 5p!

My interpretation of Lifetime is: Lifetime, television for victims.

I call it The Patty Duke Channel.

A year or so ago I saw an interview with her and she called it the same thing!!! We're like soulmates, Patty and me.
