I remember in the course of work I encountered a person sitting across a table who had been part of a motorcycle group and who'd had some hard living. Alcohol, drugs, who knows what else. Looked twenty years older than me. Yet their paperwork said we were the same age. So shocking I had to look in a mirror later that day to confirm I hadn't aged up overnight.
