How will you spend the final moments of the boys and girls of Liberty Avenue?

Hm... a little disapointed. I do enjoy the show, bad acting/writing and all. And I'll miss the soft porn... re: Goodbye 'Queer As Folk'

I would've liked it much better if Brian hadn't suddenly changed who he was... it makes me ill that everyone is ending up in a happy relationship...

Thought I'd bump this up now that the final episode has aired.

What did everyone think?

Myself? It was good. I was a little disappointed that the last scene didn't include all the characters. And while I HATE that Justin left.. I'm glad they didn't get married. I did cry a lot during this episode. But eh, I cry at everything. All in all, it was well done (as well done as epiodes are in this series.)

I for one am saddened that Emmett & Ted did not get back together

Quite possible the WORST series finale I've ever seen. The Brian/Justin thing just went back to what it was with no marriage and Justin moving to New York (because his art cannot be shown in NYC unless he actually lives there), Ted and Tad broke up and Ted reunited with Blake, the lesbians moved to Canada with no green card or job and no explanation how it can be possible for them to just live in another country, Michael and Ted are legally adopting Hunter, and Michael made a speech about how wonderful it is that we are all different. Emmett is alone and perky (but at least he's not with pathetic Ted). So basically, other than the lesbians leaving, the stories initiated since the bomb were all just filler to engage the audience and then prove to them that no one ever changes. In other words, it was a total waste of time. The ending of Michael stroking Brian's ego (because we're supposed to feel sorry for Brian?) and the two of them dancing in Babylon was one of the cheesiest endings in television history. In other words, it finale was one giant copout. I'm glad it's over. Hopefully, a better gay series will come along. I tried to watch The L Word, but it's basically Queer as Folk 2, so I gave up after 2 episodes.

I almost wished that Ted's fatal attraction boyfriend would harm him (or Emmett). Just something unexpected instead of the trite, pathetic junk they threw together. Seriously, after watching the magnificent Six Feet Under episode last night I tuned in for the QAF finale....puke.

While I understand that the show wasn't always as good as it could have been, I do think it was revolutionary and caused a lot of change for gay character's on TV. I thought the finale worked, and am sad to see the show off the air. Especially now, when we need it more than ever.

Yeah, I watched it. I don't really think Scott is that similar to Ted. But I've seen more behind the scenes on the DVDs and stuff that shows more of him. I can't imagine what it would be like with Peter playing Ted. Very weird.

Gale didn't really have much to say, did he?

I'm surprised Gale said as much as he did. He really shies away from publicity.
I am so glad Ted and Emmett didn't end up together.

It's funny to watch Gale in interviews sometimes. You can tell he's not comfortable with it at all.

Part of me really wanted Ted and Emmett back together... but I suppose it's for the best that Blake came back.
