I hope this doesn't sound terrible...but I'm honestly not that sad the show's closing. I mean, for me, the show closed back in July when most of the cast left. Yes, DRS is a greatshow, but with the perfect cast, (like the OBC, and of course, Jon Pryce) it is absolutely incredible. For me...it just feels as if the magic is gone. The chemistry just isn't there anymore.

No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree.

Dre,
Somebody told me that they had done up new programs with Jonathan and Lucie in them. New pics of the others as well. I meant to get one when I was there for Greg's last show but someone told me that all they had were the original ones. Over on the main board someone posted that they have the new ones in the theatre. Now I don't know if they have them or not - I just know I'd like to get one! (It looks like only the original is for sale on line).

Guys, try to keep in mind you saw Keith and Brian's...4th(?) performances? I really enjoyed seeing them when I went back Friday. I mean...if we're comparing, yeah I'd pick the originals and/or Pryce, but they are definitely good and the show is still quite enjoyable and IMO, deserves to still be open.

I think I will too. Might be able to bring a friend who loves DRS too. If I have my car this semester. Which I hope I do.

need to lose 3 more pounds to do so though!

It seems like 'High Fidelity' will be taking over the Imperial theatre when DRS leaves. my dad gave me a copy of Varitey from the train. and it has it in there.

I can;t make the last show then. I'm going to try and see it before I leave, but I don;t know if that is pissible.

Edit: I meant to write "possible" but I think "pissible" is funnier.

Someone was just at the box office a half hour ago and was told the show is still runing to September 3rd. I don't really know what to do... both dates are on tdf, but I don't want to buy for sunday and not have it be the closing. I can't really afford to do that.

Hi guys. It looks like the panic over the early closing date was for naught. Apparently Broadway.com has taken down the notice of the early date. It looks like a lot of people may have heard the rumor and panicked.
