So I'm sure I told some of you about how my school is offering a course called the music of Stephen Sondheim and how excited I am about that, but how it should be Bernstein. Well...next semester there's a course called the music of Gershwin AND BERNSTEIN! AHHHH! Best. friggin. class. ever!

Orientation is boring. They kind of screw transfers, we register last. I think my dorm here in Brooklyn is in a nice area, but it's been raining since I moved in so it's looked miserable. It's a nice dorm. My roommate who seems cool may be switching dorms so having a single would be so cool! At least temporarily anyway. It's in the polytech dorm, which is weird and kind of amusing. I eat in the polytech building, and just like in high school, I feel like such a minority. But we're kind of excited b/c there are not a lot of girls in this dorm. So we get our pick of the geeks.

It's like a 25-minute subway commute to school. The F train. All I wanna do is sing and dance to Santa Fe.

And I finally got the plug for my labtop. And alarm clock.

And...that's it for now.

You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree.

In addition to it reaching 666 performances, DRS will have played for *exactly* a year and a half. It opened March 3.

I have seen the Emmy Awards and John was there...my heart was beathing so hhhhhaaard....

Norbert Leo Butz quotes about John Lithgow: "He's really clumsy. One of the joys in life is to watch a great big huge man totally wipe out backstage. It takes John about three minutes to hit the floor. It's like watching a Great Sequoia falling gracelessly."

GavrocheGirl, I'd love to go to DRS closing, I really would, but I'm not allowed (LONG LONG story). Its sort of the reason I'm seeing Tarzan

Hi James!

Hey Amanda, any word on if Chuck got my letter? I won't care if he doesn't respond, but I just want to make sure he got it and I didn't screw it up.

Hmm...no clue Julia...I mean, I'll be around the city quite a bit this weekend before the 3rd, so I'm sure I can find some time to stop by and ask for you if you want Greg Jbara Love Thread Part 5: Keeping the love for our true prance alive!

If you can that would be great! But if you don't have a chance don't worry about it... I mean I have other things that I could worry about, like the 2 papers (okay more like shoooort papers) I have to write for my "college" english class.

edit: Nevermind Amanda! My dad just handed the envelope to me, I now have an autographed headshot of Chuck Saculla. I can die happy. Good night! Updated On: 8/30/06 at 09:04 PM

And you'll be doing a lot of Amanda-comforting Traci.

You can post when you come to my dorm if you want.

This post is very, very pointless since you're at the airport by now. Even saying see you tonight would be pointless...

I dunno Mary, sometimes I just see the Tarzan marquee and barf uncontrollably.

So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.~Office Space
