re: Grey's Anatomy

My husband knows better than to talk during Grey's. You would love watching it here. Even my dogs know the theme music and will come lay in my lap (the chihuahua) and at my feet (the beagle) while I watch it.

re: Grey's Anatomy

That's nice. I'm jealous. I just might have to watch it by myself next week instead. I got too mad.

EDIT: Do they reshow it at all during the week?

re: Grey's Anatomy

You at least get to watch it. I will be in Indiana. I can't be too mad because it is to welcome my brother in law home after being in Iraq for a year, but I will be dying to watch my taped episode when I get home. re: Grey's Anatomy

re: Grey's Anatomy

No one above mentioned Chandra Wilson's incredible last scene with Steve Harris (the guy in quarrantine) "I wish I could turn back the clock."

re: Grey's Anatomy

Jon, thats right. I almost forgot about how amazing that way because of the ending stuff. You know her turning back the clock stuff was in reference to Denny, not just Omar and his wife...

That's right! That was an amazing scene. I was marveling at Chandra. She was so brilliant.

re: Grey's Anatomy

I loved the season 2 DVD section where they interviewed her. She is so bubbley and cutesy- so not Dr. Bailey-ish.

re: Grey's Anatomy

I didn't like it.
I liked a lot of parts, mostly Meredith and McDreamy, but not with the quarrantine. If it doesn't end up going anywhere (IE, big series finale where everyone has the plague), then it's all WTF?
But I love how Izzie got to be on the floor all day. Easy day for her.
And another thing.. the flashbacks... Either they should've started them back in Season 1, or they should stop them for the second episode. It was weird. I don't like changes like that.

re: Grey's Anatomy

One of our local tv stations (I live on the east coast in Canada) accidently played next weeks episode. I was able to catch the first episode later on ABC but it was great to see two episodes!

I loved the flashbacks, but I agree. They shouldn't continue them after this episode.

re: Grey's Anatomy

I was also kinda pissed. I love Ellis Grey's character, and the whole history between her and Richard. When I saw Kate Burton's name, I was thrilled! But then she was only in that one little flashback. I wanted more.
#662

re: Grey's Anatomy

For those of you worried about the flashbacks continuing, I saw the second episode of the season (as I said before, because of the Canadian station screwing it up and airing the wrong episode) and you have nothing to worry about! The flashbacks were only used in the first episode of the season, and imo they were used effectively.

re: Grey's Anatomy

I didn't think they were a waste. I just think weird to change the format of the show like that.
#664

re: Grey's Anatomy

I loved the flashbacks! I especially liked the carousel one, I think it was important to know more of Grey's backstory.

Chandra Wilson should be nominated for an Emmy(again, right?) this year. And win.
One time, Patti LuPone punched me in the face...

It was awesome.

re: Grey's Anatomy

I just watched it a second time. If Patrick Dempsey wasn't old enough to be my father, I'd marry him in a second.

re: Grey's Anatomy

Atrias, if I wasn't already married, if he wasn't already married, and a few other "if"s and I'd be all over him too!

Heck, I'd settle for Justin Chambers, too! Except the five kids thing...I don't know if that would work out so well.

re: Grey's Anatomy

Wow, I feel really stupid...I don't even know what Grey's Anatomy is.

re: Grey's Anatomy

Steve Harris might just get nominated for his scene as well - that scene just had me in tears. Chandra was amazing - I liked the flashbacks, all seemed to be in theme with the clock and time.

The last scene with Christine in Burke's Arms crying also got to me - because it was so against character and showed the depth of her feelings for him.

re: Grey's Anatomy

YWIW, I am with you there. I started bawling and ahd to go give my husband a hug. When Cristina breaks down it kills me.

I saw the second episode and it's even better than the first! This show just keeps getting better and better. In the second episode, Kate Walsh is hilarious. The cast is just so strong.

Yay for Kate! Addison is my favorite character! I can't wait to see it.

That episode was the first one I've ever watched and now I'm in love with it. I can't wait til the next episode. It was an incredible episode. I know I am a little late but better late than never!

re: Grey's Anatomy

Wow- I just found out that Kate Walsh used to be on the Drew Carey Show as Nikki - Drew's girlfriend who kept losing and re-gaining weight. She was a blonde on the show so she wouldn't look like Christa Miller.
#675

re: Grey's Anatomy

She actually is blonde naturally. She just dyes her hair red now.
