Good thing there is still too much of a mystery to really know what goes down.
What mystery? They say who is dead in all the sneaks. There is talk of organ donation and going to the funeral.
I guess what I mean is that you do know most of the basic stuff, but it's the details that have not been mentioned or shown which makes you wonder. Like everything I have learned about Callie and Arizona. Every time I saw a clip with Callie, I was speculating to what would happen.
Oh, all the OTHER stuff. lol I don't think I have really invested much in Callie/Arizona. I care more about everyone's reactions to the death and the craziness that's going to be going on at the hospital. Also, all the covered maternity and movie leave leaves room for other characters to get more screen time. I am happy about that.
Yeah, I agree. This season sounds like it should be interesting. But, if they bring back ghost George to have sex with Callie, I'm done. LOL!
I hope it caused you as much pain to type that as it did for me to read it and imagine it. lol
Yes it did, but if Shonda didn't do it with Izzie and Denny last season, I probably would have never thought of it. Actually, we should be thanking T.R. Knight for not wanting to do anything on the show anymore for that reason.

I walked in late...and wasn't actually planning on watching this tonight, but hello Martha Plimpton.

Yep. Still hate Izzie. Wish she had died instead of George. *sigh*
I think Izzie and Alex could just go away. I would be happy. I don't like Callie being at Mercy West. Are they not going to acknowledge that Erica was there before and probably went back there when she left SGH? lol Mark and Lexie are stupid. I was hoping there would be some cross the hall chemistry with Callie, but NO. But I LOVE Owen and Christina! I am all about it.
I liked the premire. However, now I'm getting very nervous about Callie. She better not be dead to the show now. Yes, I hardly noticed Izzie and Alex were not there. Meredith was also not a major focus either Awesome! Well, I do kind of like Alex. Owen and Cristina are awesome. I liked them last season as well. Arizona is just cute. The chief can go away too. There is nothing interesting about him.
And, I thought in season 2 or 4 it was mentioned that Erica was from Seattle Presbyterian. So, that's why I'm not sure Callie being there will be a problem for that reason.
Oooh, you are right, Marianne. Mercy West is just where George was going and where they always route trauma. I stand corrected.
I don't think we have to worry about Callie with the hospitals merging. She will probably be back. I think they are still going to give Derek the CoS job based on a promo I saw. (Chief never yelled, "You stole my job!" last night, did he?) I got nervous when she wasn't in the promo, but I am sure they will all be working. With her living with Christina, across from Mark and dating Arizona, there is lots of room for storyline. (I LOVED the Callie/Mark friendship last night.) There is another doctor that gets fired, who I know will be back. I love it. All these maternity and movie leaves allows more time for the other actors.
On a related note, the fertility dance worked on the ABC set. Rebecca Gayheart is pregnant. First Chyler, Taye, Katherine and Ellen. Now Eric. Kate even said at the Emmys that there might be a baby in her near future.
Yes, people on IMDB thought the same thing as well, and I was almost ready to go back to DVD sets to see who was right. I do remember though the heart that Denny was supposed to get was from Mercy West, which is why I guess people thought Erica was from there.
Yeah, after seeing Callie get the job at Mercy West, I got a little nervous. However, now with the merger, I'm wondering if there is a possibility for them to send her back to Seattle Grace. Oh well, as long as we get her in most episodes, it will be okay. But, I am okay with Callie dating Arizona and being friends with Mark. I hope they do spend more episode time at their apartments now because that could be funny. Maybe having a party out in the hallway in one episode. LOL!
As for everyone dealing with George's death, I really need to stop reading IMDB or I'm just going to end up mad. Nobody seemed to like how anyone dealt with their grief and were saying it wasn't believable. I think it was. Maybe the laughing at the funeral was a little over the top with how it was done, but I didn't think there was anything wrong with it. And we're also talking about Grey's Anatomy where inappropriate moments should be expected.
I liked that Izzie started laughing at the funeral, considering she said second season that that's what she does.
I remember that too. She was laughing because Meredith stuck her hand inside the body cavity and was holding a bomb. And the laughing seemed to be more about it being ridiculous that George got hit by the bus, and not because they were glad he did.

I enjoyed the episode. I think Callie and Arizona are adorable and I hope we get more of them. I enjoy Lexi and Mark too. Izzie and Alex can go away. Alex was just being so stupid. I don't get it.
I actually quite liked Meredith this episode which is rare, haha.

I swear the chief called Derrick Darrin at one point.
Any time they talk about George, or feeling guilty about George or anything about George, I just fast forward. This episode is so padded. Yawn.
I hate these stupid posts that disappear when you bump up an older thread.
Anyway, I liked tonight's episode. I wish Callie were in it more, but I understand, since she's at Mercy West now, and most of the action took place in the hospital. But, the positive thing I'm finding is that no character has hogged all the screen time.
Cristina in peds was hysterical. But, she definitely does not belong working with kids. However, the scene with Lexie looking for the schizophrenic guy and Mark going after her reminded me too much of season 4 with Callie looking for the meth lab baby.
I don't care that Olivia is gone either. I think it's funny that they brought her back for this episode to fire her, when she has been MIA since season 3 or 4. And intern Megan can be gone too.
The baseball at the end was funny too. And thanks to Arizona, I am staying more positive about Callie staying.
The first 10 minutes of the 2 hour season finale has been posted online. WARNING: THE END IS CRAZY. It's bloody and freaky. I don't think Grey's has ever done this.
First 10
I watched it earlier. There has to be something wrong with me because the ending did shock me of course, but I actually am sort of okay with part of it. Maybe it just shouldn't have been so graphic.
Oh, there's something wrong with me, too. I said, "Oh good." If anyone has to die, that would be my first choice. Grey's has pulled some graphic crap before (the Halloween chain saw comes to mind), but that's just realistic and very close.
