Guy Getting a Pedicure

Hey. I was just wondering if any of the guys out there have gotten a pedicure? If so, was it any good? Anything I need to be careful of if I wanted to get it done? Thanks!

Go ahead and do it, Reeder. It couldn't possibly make you any gayer than you already are. Go for the red glossy polish, it looks fab with flip flops.

Reeder, treat yourself ... a mani and a pedi! It is sandal season you know.

Seriously, they are great. The salon I use serves beer and wine. It is a great way to relax and to be pampered.

Just make sure the tools they use are sterilized. There have been cases of hepatitis linked to mani/pedis.

As for the butch factor, gay or straight, nasty feet are just nasty, so keep them groomed.

I've always wanted to get one. Maybe in honor of my coming out of the closet (as of mid-march), I will get one this summer. Then I will look even *hotter* in my flip flops, khaki shorts and polo shirt. Ah, life is good.

I love pedicures (I'm female). I think more guys should get them. I'm not a fan of guys wearing flip flops, but it would be much better if their feet were scrubbed and toenails looked clean and filed. For a guy, I would say to just have your nails buffed, no polish. So they are shiny, but in a clean way. Trim cuticles, scrub off dead skin, etc. And it's great to have someone massage your lower legs and feet, which many places do as well. It's very relaxing. Go for it!
(and now I think I'll go get a pedi too)
