You guys ARE making this a happy birthday for me...and making up for the most awful Tony Awards show EVER. SNORE!

I am in NYC right now, which IS "abroad" to a lot of people but won't be for me until next week. (Cannot wait. Need to escape.) But, as always, Besty, you and I are traveling in the same psychic sphere because I just took a "test" that said of all the Hollywood actresses, I'm Grace Kelly. (HA! Let's face it, I'm more like Martha Raye.)

In addition to Besty, all my favorite people are here (okay, a few are missing)...

And Mamie...thank you for remembering. It means A LOT to me. (Especially because the Tony voters practically ignored everything I asked for!) You always try to make a difference in the lives of your family and friends, and you certainly have done that for me.

SOMEBODY should get up on a podium one day and say, "This award is nice, but when you have REAL friends, you don't need anything else." And then walk off. (Of course, after that, they'd never work again.)

Thanks, DG, but that's not the reason I was bored by the show last night. It was just AWFUL! Next year they should have Quentin Tarantino (or SOMEONE with spunk) to direct the program. I would have preferred sitting through the PIRATE QUEEN again if I knew it was going to so dull!

Glebb, I can eat strawberries dipped in chocolate for breakfast, lunch and dinner...and work them in for a few snacks, too. YUM! (In fact, I think I'll stop at Petrossian Bakery when I check out and get some!)
