Good grief. I've been without an internet connection all day and I thought I might have missed the party. But knowing Miss P, the party will continue on into the night.

I walked into my house about 10 minutes ago, so I need to get settled in so I can express my gratitude and affection for everyone, but very quickly, let me just say that I am feeling so utterly blessed right now because I do have the best friends imaginable (versus "imaginary friends"!)

Most of you know that it's been a hard year for my family, so being reminded of why we're here and the love that is possible in the world is needed and necessary. You have all done that for me...and more.

I feel like I just won a Tony! I'm overwhelmed.
