re: hot republicans

Oh Evelyn!! Wouldn't that be "accommodationist" and "ignorant" of you to say something nice about a Republican??

Besides that you need to BACK OFF B!TCH--he's MINE! re: hot republicans re: hot republicans

re: hot republicans

I'm setting a quota on how many outspoken Republicans I'll lust after. Besides, Chicago guy is not that cute... just relatively attractive. He has dense eyes and needs a different haircut.

re: hot republicans

Well if you can like Chicago who has been VERY blowhard against liberals on this board, I can like papa, who is much more respectful....when he wants to be. re: hot republicans

re: hot republicans

Of course you can like whomever you want. Admitting that you'd like to treat a person like a piece of meat can, however, be interpreted as both a compliment and an insult. re: hot republicans

re: hot republicans

Heheheheheheheheheh. Well I have been trying nicely to do just that with chicago AND papa. re: hot republicans

I think they enjoy being treated as a piece of meat.

re: hot republicans

A 'hot Republican' was Abraham Lincoln - if you consider hotness to have anything to do with something other than model looks. There hasn't been many since then because they have completely abandoned their own principles and ideals.

Being a meatpacker is fun...

I think of Abe as more of an Independent in his time than an iconic figure for Republicans today. Democrats were the conservatives by antebellum standards. Just an fyi or reminder.

re: hot republicans

Evelyn - you may consider him whatever you wish. The fact is he represented the nomination for and won the presidency as a Republican. My point was, the Republican party as it exists today has virtually nothing to do with the ideals and principles it was started with.

re: hot republicans

Yes. Same for Democrats. Thank goodness for that.

re: hot republicans

As someone who would only call themself a Libertarian if my life was threatened by not commiting to 'a cause', I couldn't care less what any of these so-called 'party-loyalists' think, do or say. The political game is a transparent one - and worthy not of deep inspection, but contempt and ridicule.

re: hot republicans

Lordy! Who knew that my post from 24 hours ago -- with those two harmless words (Hot Republican) would stir such debate? I am SHOCKED by all this political mudslinging and name-calling. It's a disgrace. You people really need to get some manners.

While I'm dispensing some of my sagacity: Chicago, you need spell-check and a good thesaurus. I tried to hint at this oh so gently the other day. It's time now. Really. Sometimes you sound like a one-tooth, gun-toting, vermin-hunting, wife-beating, Bush-loving, bush-loving, under-educated, over-achieving conservative.

Look, I don't know any hot Republicans. The closest I came to one was Kate Shindle and even she declared for Kerry in this last election. There are days I think I could ram the hell out of little Miss Tucker Carlson but why bother?

re: hot republicans

Zola's obviously out of thought again when all he can come up with is his spell check comment and put-downs of me because I don't think the same way he does. The reason you don't know any hot republicans is because you're too shallow to meet people outside of your beliefs.

You have a point there...

re: hot republicans

i've never held an attractive person's political party against them. i'd rather hold something more much more primal against them. The political discussions are for long, otherwise boring, car or train rides, or for convenient reasons to stop dating those whose real personality has somehow lost its charm. Bringing politics into bed is always a mistake. Leave that and religion out in the open where they belong.

BTW, Zola can convert me from this way of thinking anytime he wants *wink*.

re: hot republicans

I have some Republican friends but never been in a relationship with one. I have to admit, I don't have much respect for gay Republicans.

Of course, I've "dated" Republicans before -- but then again I've "dated" supposedly straight guys too.

"Then again, the Republican party has showed its colors over the years as being more and more about "my money is my money"

Just a question: why shouldn't my money be my money if I earned it? Should I give my money away? Should my money be your money too?

I may be sorry I started this but.... If we just get rid ofthe cap on much is taxed on Social Security (Only the 1st $90,000) is taxed) the problem would be solved (Yes the answer really is that simple)

I agree Mominator, but then they will all be howling about imposing a "new tax."

Not a "new tax" just an adjustment on the old tax!
