HSM2 Production Rights

I almost hate to ask, but am asking on behalf of an organization I am a part of. Does anyone know if Disney has decided on releasing production rights for High School Musical 2 in quick fashion as they did with the first one?

We did the first one this year and had sellouts and of course the Board loves the $ signs and are ready to jump on HSM2 when it does become available.

HSM2 will not release the production rights. They are supposedly coming up with a way to do it as a different show. Possible titles: "High School Musical: Summertime!", "High School Musical: Summer Vacation!", etc.

It would make sense that they change the show in some way since it would be awfully hard to stage scenes around a pool....

They are only changing the title for all I know. Because if a school hasn't put on HSM, then why would the school have HSM2??
