Which do you prefer?
Lamb! I like the leg. Fat side up - cut slits and insert garlic. Rub with Kosher salt, pepper and fresh rosemary. Roast in the oven - yum!!!! Parsnips on the side!

I've never tried lamb!
I love ham, though. Those huge ham steaks... put sliced pineapple on top, then sprinkle with brown sugar and bake. YUM!
Lamb is sooo yummy! And my mom makes it just the way you described. Only we have it with asparagus and roasted new potatos.
I can't wait for this Sunday

Fantastic! Isn't it just great?
For desert we always have strawberry shortcake, to appease my father. Only my mom's shortcakes are more like biscuits. It's delish!

Kitz! Our family makes strawberry shortcake with biscuits, too! I've never known anybody else to do that!
Ham!
Neither.
Lamb. It's all about the lamb.
Roasted potatoes with fleur de sel, please...
Oh it has to be Lamb,
Lamb in Scotland is the best, but I cant wait to have it soon. Lambchops = one of my favorites
while I prefer my lamb from New Zealand... Or from Niman Ranch... when I can afford to...
Lamb!

Allie, your family rocks. Strawberry shortcake biscuits are the ONLY way to go!
Oh, but strawberry shortcake on a dense spongecake is throughly delightful too!
I'm not quite sure I ever got the mint jelly that is served alongside roast lamb, though...

I prefer it au jus. Or perhaps with the Brazilian chimichurri sauce, for a good kick...
My mom gets the jelly and I don't use it.
I'm not a fan of mint jelly, my aunt likes it though.
I'm not a vegetarian, but I don't eat pig or lamb. Or fish. Or duck. Or rabbit.
I don't like most kinds of meat. Really, I only eat cows and chickens. I tried to become a vegetarian, but I really like eating cows and chickens. And I don't feel guilty about it because I think they're ugly.
I'm a bit strange.
I find the cuter the animal, the tastier the meat.

Lamb is the traditional meal in our house tonight (Holy Thursday) because of the Passover/Paschal lamb connection. On Easter Sunday it's usually a honey baked spiral ham.
Roast lamb and roast vegetables (potatoes, pumpkin, turnip) with mint sauce (not jelly). I love the way the sauce tastes mixed with gravy over peas mmmm! Lamb is also very cheap (compared to the U.S.) in Australia.
