Is America really the greatest nation on earth?
Was it ever?
I think we have an ego problem.

Yes.
But probably all countries pretty much suck. Ours only seems to suck more than most because the State is so powerful.

No Jay, you have the problem. It seems 90% of everything you think about this country is negative and your negativity runs deep in most of your posts. Was the US ever great? Well, the US won World War II and stopped Hitler. The US put the first man on the moon and the benefits to that were huge, just google it. American POTUS (Ronald Reagan) was a significant help in the Berlin War being torn down. The US invented cell phones, could you live life today without one? The US invented the foundation technology for the internet. I could go on but hopefully you get the point.
Does the US have faults? Of course, it does. Sorry, the world is not some utopia.

The problem is absolutely NOT mine.
It’s everybody's.
When a morally corrupt con man/crime syndicate is elected as leader, I think some deep reflection is called for. Sorry if that bothers you.

"The US won World War II and stopped Hitler"
The Allies won World War II. Russia stopped Hitler. FDR turned his back on Jewish refugees.

"Key Contributions to Victory:
- Strategic Impact: The U.S. successfully broke Japanese codes and, along with Britain and the Soviet Union, forced the Axis powers to surrender.
Industrial Power: American factories produced more planes, tanks, and ships than the rest of the Allies combined, fueling the war effort.
- Pacific Campaign: The U.S. led the fight against Japan, particularly through the island-hopping campaign and the use of atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
- European Theater: American troops played a massive role in the liberation of Western Europe, specifically with the D-Day landings, while supplying the Soviet Union with crucial resources.
While the Soviet Union bore the brunt of the land fighting against Germany in the East, and Britain held out in 1940, American involvement was essential to securing ultimate victory for the Allies"

I don't disagree with any of that.
It's just that you gave US sole credit, which is unfair and inaccurate. Symptomatic of our ego problem though.

Really Jay, you are being picky. You don't think the US played a much more significant role than the other allies. Just read over the points I listed which you did not disagree with. Whatever dude.

I don’t give a flying **** what happened decades before I was born. The US is currently a cesspit. When will a liberating power send forces here to kill our supreme leader?

Most historians agree that the Soviet Union played the largest role in defeating Hitler.
Don't take it personally, Zep.
Over 8 million soldiers died.

According to... what source(s)? Oh... just YOU?
"Many military historians argue that Hitler's own bad judgment towards the end of the war contributed to his defeat, especially attacking Russia while Britain remained undefeated, leading him to fighting on two fronts, a position that was unsustainable." -Lynnette Wofford, Ph.D.

No, John Adams. Not just me. Your blind devotion to all things Uncle Sam is frankly baffling. It's that kind of mindset that lead to MAGA.

Once again asking mods why we allow for people to call for the killing of the POTUS on here.

^^^^ Because it's a message board where people give opinions. If you died, The Sociopathic Child Rapist would laugh at you. Consider that sh*t AND reading a PM I sent you weeks ago regarding a member who has since passed because you asked about it a month ago.

It will happen and hopefully Mr. Robinson has siblings because he was an amazing shot. Shame Mr. Crooks missed ![]()

Well… precisely. USA has decided that international law is irrelevant and that it can murder foreign leaders without any shame.

"Precisely"? The greater the effort you put into "bluffing" your sense of understanding only underlines the reality that you don't.
