Well considering Cher hasn't had a hit since 2001-
That would make her chart status span from 1965-2001 (36 years)
And in 30 years, Madonna has charted far more and accomplished quite a heck of a lot more than Cher. Her singles charts and success in sales alone far surpasses Cher within the first 30 years.
And let's face it. Madonna could just buy Cher.
