This great lady's birthday is today; whenever I hear Grey Gardens I think how much ass she would have kicked in the Ebersole part. As fine as Christine was, Madeline would have added a little extra ping as Little Edie.
I hope she found Howard Bannister's rocks and had a happy life with Mr. Larabee. . . :)

But she's dead you guys.
So is your sense of humor.
Guys, fflag posted something that's actually positive and relatively unbitter.
We should take time to be in awe of this Loch Ness Monster sighting-style phenomena.

*gapes in awe*
I stopped watching "Cosby" after she passed. It was never the same.
We miss you Miss Trixie, Scarlet, Von Schtupp.
Honestly, I've always found birthday threads for those who have passed away to be a little weird.
However, I’m all for celebrating her memory.

I'm just saying, it's odd to post birthday wishes directly to somebody here when the person has been dead for nine years.
This is not to say I didn't personally worship her or that I am super glad I got to see her in On the 20th Century before her blow habit forced her to drop out or that she made "Judy Berlin" a forgotten treasure or anything like that.
It's just ... odd.
It's more a tribute to her memory, Namo.

All I have to add:
Have you no sense of propriety?
Namo, folks have been celebrating Jesus' birthday for some time now, and alot of us think that's idiotic.
All I have to say is:
"Yes I killed Yvette. I hated her. I hated her so much it it it it it...flames on the side of my face...heaving breaths, heathing breaths..."
"Men should be like kleenex...soft, strong and disposable."
Love you Madeline. :)

Yeah, Jesus has been gone like 2000 years. If we're talking shelf life here.
Love me some Madeline Kahn.
