Does no one make a good matzah kugel anymore? My whole family is out of town so I'll be having a fab seder consisting of Matzah Ball soup for 1 and a Matzah Kugel...

My parents are taking care of the seder so I only need to worry about cooking for myself. I have a pot of matzah ball soup on the stove right now. I also just made myself a big bowl of quinoa salad to take to work for lunch. When I get the chance I will make an apple raisin kugel. ...and those are pretty much the things that I live off of for the week.
Well not for Seder- but I could live on Matzah brie for the week!
Happy to say the Pressure-Cooker Brisket did not explode.
YAY PJ!
Let us know how it tastes.

I just found a pickled brisket for 50% off at the grocery store. Looks like I'll be eating brisket for the week.

3 frozen gefilte rolls, kneidelach, boeuf a la mode, chicken with clementines, fennel, and arak, quinoa, potatoes, carrots, green beans, 3 pashtidot, salad, chocolate almond cake, and almond lemon cookies. Phew.
Some of this sounds delicious, some of it I have never even heard of. I had Kielbasa and Sauerkraut for dinner. (I'm Catholic)

Did any floating homosexuals join you for the meal?
No, these homosexuals prefer to soar.

Would be great if you soared away with them next time.
Loved the food at the seder - best item- the baby lamb chops. Passover desserts are never good.
I'll get u the recipe for the frozen lemon meringue cake- its a lot of work but delish!

I guess it's the overwhelming weight of tradition and sentiment that leads me to eat and actually enjoy those scary Pesach fruit slices.
But eat--and enjoy--them I do. I'm a kid again back in my Grandmother's dining room.
I also love a good raisin/cinnamon kugel. Matzoh brie I eat year-round--it's a staple in my house--and I will occasionally make a savory kugel. But desert kugel is Passover only.
omg I LOVE those fruit slices!
