Wishing that everyone has a good time cursing Haman. I went to my Purim Schpiel last night as the HotFlash Hippie. I had a very long wig, hot pink granny glasses, hot pink peace sign necklace with matching earrings, a headband and a flower for my hair. I was a lovely sight!

At least with Purim you can say "how's it hanging" and really mean it!
Yenta, do you like hamentashen? It is one my least favorite holiday foods. Just curious.
And liotte, you have to spit when you say that in order to get the proper inflection!
Poppyseed or prune, no! Anything else, YES!!
LOVE IT!! Have a good one, guys.
I swear to go, between not liking Salmon, Lox, and Hamentashen, I am going to get kicked out of my own tribe!

Happy Purim!
I know this wasn't asked to me, but i personally LOVE hamentashen! not a big fan of the mun (poppyseed) ones, but prune and most others, I love! Homemade ones are the best though!

"So where's my prune hamentashen?" I ask.
Happy Purim to all my Jewish friends!

Go to Waldbaum's, DollyPop. Although you can very easily make them from your Pignoli cookie dough. Just roll the dough into a circle and fill with Lekvar { prune filling} . Then pinch the corners to make a triangle. I think Prune and pignoli is a nice idea. Raspberry and apricot are good fillings, too.

Happy Purim, everyone! And Blessings on your house until the next one!
I just read up on this holiday. Wow! It all comes down to 'We survive in spite of what they try to do to us, with the help of G-d, and we are celebrating life itself!" There are many reflections of that among so many people. Have a wonderful Purim.

Strawberry hamentaschen? So untraditional...and yet...I'll probably end up trying it some time if I come across it. At my house the choices are usually restricted to poppy and apricot, and I only eat the latter.
I'm celebrating by doing homework. That's how I celebrate most things.
Purim is a Jewish holiday celebrating Queen Esther saving the Jews.
And of course I'm sick for Purim this year. Lucky me.

Wow,
I wish I had read this thread earlier. Maybe I wouldn't have had one of the sh**iest days ever.
