The "Chuckles the Clown" episode was brilliant. As was Harvey Kormans talent as a comedian.
"He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion."

I keep thinking of the Mama's Family skits. So much attention was paid to Eunice and Mama, with good reason, but Harvey's work was so consistent, and so 'right on target'. There was never any doubt about the pain he was actually suffering, but it was always presented in a way as to be comedically palletable.
And I truly believe that when all is said and done, I'll remember him sitting with Carol as the old people on the porch. They, as performers, were wise beyond their years - and it will play into eternity.
He was such a great comedian. I loved him on the Carol Burnett show. I was also sad to here about Sydney Pollack he died on my birthday while I was watching him in Made of Honor that day. I was deeply saddened. Also, Stanley Kramer a few weeks ago. He was on Melrose Place and recently Monk's psychatrist. Three great talents who will be missed.
