re: Harvey Korman passes on

He was a very sweet man...in addition to being absolutely hilarious.

Loved him in the Brooks films also. "You will be risking your lives, whilst I will be risking an almost certain Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor."

Very sad. He was the best.

It's surprising he lasted that long. A ruptured aortic aneurysm is almost always fatal within 5-20 minutes.

My father has an aortic aneurysm, but they've put in a stent and are monitoring it regularly. He's lucky. Most people don't even know they have one before it's too late.

A part of my life - a very happy, safe and joyous part - has passed. A great and gentle soul. RIP.

Big week for deaths, unfortunately. Two favorites gone. How sad.

My mom used to say that rain came when the angels cried. With Dick Martin and Harvey now up there, they'll be crying from laughter.

Thank you for all the joy Harvey - and may you truly rest in peace.

An enormous part of my life. First on The Danny Kaye Show, then right to The Carol Burnett Show. He was simply brilliant. R.I.P.

A brilliant comedian. He will be missed.
"If this is going to be a Christian nation that doesn't help the poor, either we have to pretend that Jesus was just as selfish as we are, or we've got to acknowledge that He commanded us to love the poor and serve the needy without condition and then admit that we just don't want to do it." -Stephen Colbert

Carol Burnett and Tim Conway must be devestated.

Classy man and of course talented.

Let's hope some channel will show some of the Carol Burnett Show as a tribute.

Otherwise go to YouTube or buy the show on DVD. For fans, it is a crime that the whole 11 years of the show is not out on DVD; only about 30% of the 1972-78 seasons.

I wonder if Eunice is also in mourning?

re: Harvey Korman passes on

You know, he worked with some of the best entertainers ever - Burnett, Leachman, Kahn, Conway - but they all managed to be even better when they worked with him.

How sad, he was absolutely, amazing in High Anxiety....I will truly miss this rare talent!

re: Harvey Korman passes on

The way he would sometimes try so very hard NOT to crack up from what Carol or Vicki or Tim were doing.

He made funny fun.

Rest in peas.
